1. I'll tell y'all one thing. That Bmt team is for real! Just wait and see...
 2. How did you end up on your predictions. I haven't heard all the scores yet.
 3. Dang! I heard Nederland was pretty good since they combined into 1 team.
 4. Now way this fella is serious... I'm sure this is just a proud Dad/Coach having some fun... On the outside chance he IS serious, he needs a reality check!
 5. Good job fellas! We'll be rooting you on!
 6.
My thanks go out to a great bunch of players and coaches. No matter what happens at the State Playoff in San Antonio this Saturday, I can say that it has been one heck of a ride. I am so proud of what these guys have accomplished and more proud of the manner in which they accomplished it. I will never forget this Special Season and all that these young men have accomplished. We have taken the STJFL to a whole new level and we hope that others will choose to take it even further in the future. I would like to thank everyone involved with the STJFL for holding this great league together for all the RIGHT reasons, especially President James Kersh and we hope that you all pray for our best efforts in San Antonio this Saturday night in our quest to bring the State Championship home to Lumberton Texas and the STJFL. Sincerely, Thanks to My Coaching Staff and the "Terrible Twenty" Coach Mike, Head Coach, Lumberton Senior Blue, South Texas USA Football Champions President, Lumberton Youth Football & Cheerleading, Inc.
Awesome job, Coach. You are a class act and a great coach...both of which reflects in those young men who are taking the field for you. Good luck to you and your boys. May God watch over and protect y'all.
 7.
Vidor has the better team. Png has the better coaches. If Vidor would give their best player, #3 the ball they might have won. Daddy ball cost them the game today.
Daddy Ball has nothing to do with it. #3 had been and still was very sick. They were looking out for the kid's best interest. Both teams are well coached and have greats kids. Good job to both!
 8.
we played both of these teams this year. we where ahead of png-w until the last 3 minutes of the game, which they held us at there 21 yd line to end the game, they do have a very good team.  we played vidor -w in vidor and had a tuff time on offense against this team ,though we had about 209 yds and got to the 6 yd line but time ran out on a 2nd down at halftime. they also stopped us at the 2 yd line in the second half ( 38 plays  -209 yds rushing and passing ) though i think both teams have fine teams i have to give vidor the win, to much offense and a stout defense to go. score :  vidor  37  png  19
That seems right on track...
They live there and have been for years... Have kids playing there...
Clueless, in other words...

 11. On similar threads, I have made the same argument. Lumberton is the smalles t 4-A in the area, and one of the smallest in the state.  More numbers mean a bigger pool to choose from. It's pretty simple...

Im not trying to point out teams but it is clear Vidor has had lesser opponents in 50% of their scheduled games. Imagine if PNG played LC and PNG P, what you think those numbers would look like? Vidor is tough, but I say PNG W is just as tough and they have proven it week after week. This is going to be a great game to watch, probably one of the best we will see in youth football as of late. 13.
I just wanted to say hello and wassup to all my buddies and friends that I have made over the years on here. I miss the smack talk and all the sleepless nights preparing a defense for war the next morning. I see that everyone is doing well and of course some are still always upset about something childish hahahaha. The funny thing is, that's what makes this league so much fun and great to be around, its the people involved. The STJFL has an amazing group of people, from board members to coaches, helpers and parents. I will be at the Super Bowl games on Sunday, so good luck to everyone and God bless you guys and most importantly, I pray that the kids have a great time and enjoy the game of football.
It was another fun year, as always! No more smack talking for me though...I learned my lesson fo' sho'...  8) 8) 8)

Just my 2 cents. By the way Smashmouth, did you notice the thread discussing your feelings being hurt just suddenly disappeared.  Man, that was totally insensitive on someone's part. :)
Pretty hilarious...I may have to change my name to SmoothMouth...just sayin'. Like i have said before. Some people take this way to seriously. Disciplined ? Really? some of these kids are still going to time out. There 6 to 11. K thru 5th grade. Disciplined at that age is eating all your vegetables so you can be big and strong. Your still learning the alphabet and colors in K. Disciplined to say yes mam to your mom and no sir to your dad. To be respectful and to share. But Im sorry to me not so much on the football field. And some people wonder why their kid once they reach jr. high or high school dont want to play anymore. When there this young it should be fun. I mean real fun. Team moms bringing popcicles for after practice fun. Learning what its like to be on a team. Buuut do i thinkl its to early no. Not even. I remember getting my kids up early before daylight to go deer hunting. And they loved it to. So did I. I think its whatever you decide to do. I commend all the moms and dads on this site for at least wanting to spend time with their kids. Helping to teach them and other kids a great GAME. There are lots of kids out there who either dont have parents interested in them or dont have the means. But please guys stop with all the dicipline and dedication talk. There will be plenty of time for that come 8th or 9th grade. Sorry hope i didnt offend anyone. JMO Oh and SMootmouth please get over it soon ;D
Get over what?
