I think if every graduate from Silsbee high donated 20 bucks we could have a nice one. I'm not sure about the up keep of those things though. If local business in SETX wanted to advertise on it, you could charge them maybe 300 per season. Get 10-15 companies to advertise and there you go. Could help pay it off as well.
Let's see...average of 3 grads a year....30k dollars...it's gonna be a while. Unless you can include the welding school grads too...

I don't think both Lumberton teams will lose at their house. Just my opinion tho
I was being nice to Lum R, considering Blue beat Red by 30 both games last year and this years game has the potential to be even worse. (Show some respect here blue and not embarrass the kids.) Far as Lum W, they also lost a lot last year,(including the coach) only way this game will be close is if I'm thinking of the wrong Vidor team. Vidor is a strong play to be playing B in the Super Bowl this year if they can get pass Png W
You're wrong...Lum Red spanked Bmt Blue. Bmt GOLD is the team that got the best of Lum Red.  Still gettin out the cobwebs Ocho?

We played Livingston 1st district game and struggled, faced Lumberton a few weeks later and did much better then faced Vidor late in the season and looked like a team that new what it was doing against the misdiraction running attack.  3+ weeks of preparation was a plus. Same thing happened the year before. Livingston gave us fits right outta the box, then Vidor our boys looked better prepared and finally against BH in the playoffs they looked solid. It really doesn't matter that the offenses are different, the fact is they are built around misdirection and learning the hard way early on not to take the bait is big advantage later in the season.
Now, that's using logic ! This person had a full grasp on the underlying issue before he posted.
Too bad you don't have even half a grasp before you post...please let it go.

 16.
This reminds me of a few years back when Mathews changed the Vidor offense to the slot t and he had several fans in uproar. Saying that they should let him go and what was he thinking and a lot of other things. Now look at him. Just took his team from 2-8 to 10-3 and won 4A coach of the year in DC magazine. ....just sayin'
Thanks for that comment '2cents...some people don't get it.  I'll bet Jeff will tell you a lot of his success depends not only on his offensive AND defensive strategy, but also the strengths of his players...the kids that have to go out each Friday night and turn you into a hero or a zero.

Perhaps...I just don't have facts and figures to back up that argument, so I choose not to make possible false statements.  For instance, to the average poster on this site, you may seem like a total moron; however, it would be wrong for me to categorize you as a moron, because maybe you're just putting on some kind of act...I don't know, so I choose to stay away from false statements. That's sounds like a pretty good reason. I've got the ignorant part down pretty well.  FYI, I played high school football, baseball, golf and track, played college football and have coached (kid level) basketball, tee ball, base ball, flag football & tackle football.  I don't think any of that makes me an expert on the subject...just sayin'.  Like I said...back up words with facts.
