I know many of the girls on the GT 01 team. We played with several of them before my daughter had to move up and those girls deserve every bit of congratulations for their hard work without a anonymous person making a snarky comment no matter who it was aimed at. You may not have directed your comment towards the girls directly but Craig is a part of our organization and leaves a sour taste none the less. Hottestbats I will give you one bit of friendly advice  :) ... if you profess to keep your name out of the public forum to save your "granddaughter" any consequences, backlash (or embarrassment) perhaps just keeping these types comments quiet would be simpler. I am sure your granddaughter may know many of these talented young ladies and share a common love for the game... Possibly if you stay in this long enough, you may actually be the one who learns how it operates.

I get frustrated when people in the stands start yelling at the refs.  I don't want my kids (players or blood) listening to that crap.  Yes the refs do suck at times...but it's Junior league football.  You get what you get.  I don't want my kids thinking it is right or honorable to yell at a ref. Now for the other side of the coin.  I don't feel sorry for them as Clueless stated.  They get paid.  They knew what they signed up for.  They have a choice.  They could even become better refs if they were so inclined...

[/quote] without proper clearance (background check, forms, badge) she shouldn't be on the field regardless. Head coach or coach on field with the players (OC or DC) only should talk to ref... Those refs get paid though...they do have an accountability...but we ain't talkin college or the pros here.  That's why I tend to give them a little (lot) of slack.

With all due respect RaiderGirl, I don't think the players give it a second thought during the game if fans are leaving or not.  If they are truly interested in playing hard and trying to do their best (which I believe they are) then the attendance is last on the list of considerations. The boys will be fine.  Football is for big boys, and Lumberton players are tough. End of topic.
