It sure is gonna 19-4A who's boss. And the final nail in the coffin is when Livingston shows Dayton what a real team plays like.
No one in 20-4a has shown Dayton yet. lol ;D ;D
Lumberton beat Dayton 8-7 the last year Dayton was in 20-4a(:
Hey Raidergirl, glad you have something to brag about that happened 4 YEARS ago, maybe y'all will want to play Dayton again sometime.  That will be a lot of fun
I don't think Raidergirl was bragging, she was just replying to Knightrider's comment that no one in 20-4a has shown Dayton yet...nobody in L-Town bragging right now.

 3.
I'm wondering if Silsbee's defense can handle a run first team like this. Lumberton runs that wing T old school offense and its hard to shut down. I think this game will be very close and will be decided by less than 10 points. Lumberton always plays Silsbee tough!
That is a very inciteful analysis of the situation.  I am a Raider fan, but Silsbee's team seems to be solid; however, they have played to low caliber teams to this point (sorry Cleveland, but it's true...).  Lumberton always plays Silsbee tough!  Anything could happen, but the pendulum is swinging towards the Tigers.
 4.
Smashmouth, are you part of the team? Are you a good friend or relative of Hussey? If not you don't know what's going on!!!!
Yes I am, and yes I do.  Anything else, ask Cody or Woodard.
 5. No politics involved this time.  He got replaced and he hit the road.  I wish he would have not acted so abruptly.  Work hard, kick butt and get your spot back...that's how it's done.
 6.
You may be right but i just feel a lil upset brewing here bc i saw WOS play and i just saw a few issues that can be taking advantage of during the course of the game. Scott and his staff are students of the game!!! It will be closer than people think. Good luck to everyone!!! :)
Who did you see WOS play?
 7.

Yes, he was a good hs rb but playing at the d1 level is a totally different level and the speed of the game is way different!!! Hussey was to slow to play at this level, great kid and great hs back but at this level speed kills and that was his downfall!!!! I hope he gets his degree and comes a great hs coach somewhere!!
Yeah he was real slow, had 50+ Td runs agains Central and Ozen and a 70 yard td agains LaMarque.  Kid just had no speed at all!!! ;D
With all due respect (and I am a Hussey fan)...Big difference between High School and College sports.  Woodard put out there who he thought was best after hours, days, weeks and months of evaluation.  Where I come from, if you lose your spot, then you work your butt off to get it back!
you didnt miss football at LU enuf---Weber Intl is smaller and almost beat us last year..
Yea, and "IF"  :)Texas A&M pounds us next year, they won't say anything about us only having 15,000 to their 50,000!
Preach on Brother!  Go Get em CARDS!
 9.
Hey smashmouth, have no fear BMT GOLD is here. BMT blue is going to win that division, starting by beating up on WOS this coming weekend!! We will have a real Beaumont Bowl this year!!!lol Well I hope 8) See CJ I had your back until u brought out the rule book, I dont dorules bc if a team has to cheat to be successful they will be judge by a stronger person than me. I am not on this board to judge but i will state my opinion!!
I feel a wager coming on...I got WOS on this one...Bmt Blue might get lucky to be the 4th team in.  What's the bet on the WOS game?  Look JAG86, there's smack talk and then there's crazy talk...you're leaning way hard on the crazy side!
 10.

Cleveland fans have officially left the forum! Silsbee will get another test next week against a good Lumberton team. Over the last 10 years, Lumberton has matched up well vs the Tigers.
Correction, average Lumberton team.
Unfortunately for Lumberton, I think you are correct. Lumberton looking for a tough 1st home game against the Tigers.
 11.
Seems to be the correct call from what I have read.... your opposition fails to score on first possession.... you have the ball within FG range.... so instead of running another play and getting a penalty that pushes you out of range, or a fumble....  you take the FG try on 3rd down so that if you have a mis handle of the football you still have another shot at the FG or a hail mary for the endzone if its a bad lose on the snap..... I see no problem with this call at all.... other than the kick was missed.... just my opinion...
That is exactly correct in my opinion.  Could've been handled several ways, but the call by the coach was not a bad one.
 12. I haven't seen Silsbee able to beat L-Town in quite a while...but I gotta take Silsbee on this one.
 13. JAG86...Your heart is in the right place.  You guys will be there.  Good parents, Good Coaches and most importantly GOOD KIDS is what it's all about.  Don't take it personally...this board if for ragging on people and having fun. Y'all keep working hard and you will get good results...now playing in the Superbowl...that's a different story.
 14.
Some publication had us as 25 pt underdogs in pee-wee football. Thats all I meant by that!! Some one also posted that we are in a week division, I beg to disagree with that. PN-W and Lumberton White are the real deal and I trade for WOS and PN-P in a heart beat!!!
Glad to see the BMT teams developing.  Hope you guys get into the playoffs...but you better hope you don't face a team like WOS...LIGHTS OUT! LUM RED...LIGHTS OUT!  I watched them play each other this weekend.  Along with LUM White, arguably the 3 best teams in either conference.
 15. Don't stir the pot too much or the Posting gods will lock you out (especially if you say something that implicates anything WOS!!!)
 16. ONE MORE TIME...The issue now stands that someone should be looking into who falsified the records.  It happened more than once...who cares that he did not play.  Changing the dates on the documents (you know, the ones locked up tightly and securely at school) is a serious matter!
 17. WOS and Lumberton Red should be fun to watch.  Lum White in an easier conference (looks that way on paper anyway.  Because of that I think Lum White may have the advantage...what do you think?
 18.

Do we really need the smoking gun at this point??  My respect for Coach T has grown 110% in the past few days.  My hats off to him for cleaning things up.  Its not going to do any good to point fingers at this point.  The bottom line is the that the guilty party is no longer part of the program.  Whether it be the student, the parents, or the previous administration (which alot of you are alluding too but scared to just come out and say it) it doesnt matter because none of them are associated with the program anymore.  Again, hats off to ya Coach T, the kids and that program are lucky to have you on board now and you are without a doubt the right man for that job.  kudos!!
If the current Coach is truly the one who innocently brought this out in the open, then I applaud him; however, pointing fingers is EXACTLY what needs to happen.  If someone at WOS schools is involved (old, new or current), then it should be investigated.  School records were changed for crying out loud.  The pile is too big to sweep under the rug...YES, we need the smoking gun (and whomever pulled the trigger).
Smoking gun for what?  The player involved in this has been declared ineligible and will never participate in any high school competition ever again.  The player in question was eligible for every other high school year which he participated so no player was wrongfully on the field as a result of this. Sounds like some wants to stomp around to try and transform all of those years of sour grapes.
No sour grapes here.  The issue is no longer the eligibility...the issue is criminal activity in the school district.  I have nothing, whatsoever, against WOS.  If you weren't from WOS then you might have a more objective point of view.  Let's say someone attempts to do something illegal but their plan is unsuccessful...isn't a crime still committed?  WHO CHANGED THE SCHOOL DOCUMENTS!!!  I don't want anything to happen to the athlete (other than a lesson learned).  I want to know who changed the documents, and I want to know what is going to be done about their criminal activity.  Quit blinding yourselves with school loyalty and start trying to figure out who committed the crime!
 19. I'm not real sure, but some guy from Silsbee told me the Tigers would probably win.

 21. I know Lum White won the 'bowl last year.  Who looks bettter this year? White or Red?
 22. I don't know the coach, the athlete or the athlete's family, so I cannot comment on where the whole thing went south; however, I do have common sense.  If anyone out there disputes something weird was INTENTIONALLY going on, then you need to have your head checked.  It would be interesting to know who coached the boy (family/coach/himself/whomever) to give the incorrect age.  It would also be very interesting to know who marked through the dates in the SCHOOL/COACHES RECORDS!  Believe me...all we are lacking is the smoking gun.  Hope WOS has a good season without him, as I am sure they will.  I also hope this kid puts this mess behind him amnd uses it as a lesson that lying/cheating/selective memory can get you in trouble.
 23. Still very early in the season, but I agree with most of your picks 85.  The scores still have not posted...anywhere else I can find out week 1 winners?
 24.
They're are always things said in the stand......"kill em"...", lay him out", "hurt someone"......you just have to ignore them. People are generally good and they don't mean it literally......... If your looking for drama, you can ALWAYS find it......
AMEN to that...
 25. Don't sweat it 'b.  Whomever made those comments will die one day and burn in Hell for eternity.  I wouldn't worry too much...
