1. Nah... LOL!  They are building so many homes out here it's ridiculous!
 2.
YAY! Manvel won... I so wanted to be there... but family 1st... so who they playing next?
CC Calallen
 3. More like 10 miles! And the teams Dawson & Hightower beat are in the area also... Angelton & Pearland!
 4. Hard fought game... We jumped out early, but LM battled back!  Straight dog fight! HOKA HEY!! Saw some Dayton fans... THX for coming out & good luck to you guys!
You're smokin. Manvel stopped LM inside the 10 three times and scored on a busted coverage in a 29-14 home win. On a neutral field in the playoffs and with everything on the line, It'll be a nail biter.
Manvel dropped a TD in the endzone too!
Look no doubt Manvel is very impressive, but LM tends to play better in the playoffs so we'll see. LM's coach was worried about showin too much last week and basically ran only a few plays. I bet he throws the ball more than 4 times next week.
Gonna have to... But the pass rush will be there!
No doubt! Manvel sacked LM six times last game. Forced to throw away or run at least six other times. If LM's plan is to throw a lot, I'm sure the LM QB is already having nightmares!
No time for nightmares, LM is playing with "house money" anyways, Manvel is the juggernaut that just made a Dayton team quit, intimidated Yates, & as Kirk Martin put it "got after LM's tails" the 1st game. So LM will be loose, if LM loses, hey they weren't supposed to beat BIG BAD Manvel anyway. But if Manvel falls behind the pressure is going to be tremendous! At any rate, it's going to be a good game.
It's sounds good to kinda shift the pressure to Manvel, but La Marque is "State Runner-Up" and a school w/ winning tradition etc... We aren't worried about pressure, just gonna come out a play hard.  It's the two top teams in one of the toughest Districts in Texas, so both teams are respected.  It should be a great game!  MAV NATION!!

 10.
According to a Galveston County sportswriter, "Source: UIL clears La Marque of any wrong doing regarding the brawl with Ozen Saturday. No discipline coming from UIL." And, "Source: UIL determined that La Marque did nothing to start the brawl, and thus was not responsible for its occurrence."
Well that's that!  Let's play!  HOKA HEY!!  GO MAVERICKS!! 4 games in 2 years... should be a good one Tino!
 11. I think DQ'ing La Marque from the game this week as unfair.  Because I'm sure that there were kids in Cougar uniforms that kept there composure and simply tried to break things up.  But as for those involved... There must be some punishment.  Now Ozen on the other hand, should be required to punish their students also.  Punishment shouldn't be passed over because you loss.
 12.
There obviously needs to be a punishment here. Does any one know what is going to happen to the cougars?
I heard La Marque coach will issue out punishment.

As far as home field advantage is concerned, it won't matter. Most of the 13 games angleton has played (and won them all, BTW) this year have been away games for them. I will give Dawson props tho, they are an excellent team also, and I believe that it will be a close one and may even end up going to OT, but A-town should be on top at the end!!... [move]Go Cats, Go!!!![/move]
Dawson has beat Angleton also...Very bad last year!
That was a completely different team. The main threat was Diggs, yes Jackson was there but he got hurt early and wasn't running the ball as well last year as he is this year. The #'s might tell a different story but he is a better runner this year.
I'm pretty sure Dawson is aware of the coaching change and different offense etc...  Both teams can score and both struggle on D at times... Should be a good game.  Dawson struggle hard with the run and Angleton will give up passing yards against decent teams.  Neither team should go off the past... they are evenly matched IMO.

 22. Detroit Lions Suh will most likely be suspended and fined by the NFL for what he did on Thanksgiving...  Rightfully so!  Now if the guy which whom he stomped would have got up and retaliated he would be getting suspended and fined also...  For simply retaliating.  But instead he walked away and will be in uniform helping his team next week, while Suh continue to lie to the public and not accept responsibility.  All I'm saying is LaMarque had won the game and should have displayed a little more restraint and walked away... If its not there fault to begin with.  But go to 24-4A Facebook and you will read post that let you know that there was anger on both sides coming into the game.
I agree... bring the paddling and true discipline back.  Quit letting them get away with every darn thing.  There should be consequences to their actions.  I see kids everyday that doesn't know how to say "yes sir" and "yes mam"... when I was young my Dad slap the censored out of me for not addressing my elders with respect.  Excuse my french, but parents, teachers and trusted neighbors need to stop fearing these kids and start back being the adults.
I agree good post. Parents need to quit being a "friend" to their child and be a Parent.
Many kids have only one parent in their lives, usually the mother...Not saying tht a mom can't raise a child the right way, but it's beneficial to have a man around to do some rear end kicking when/as required.  Look at recent cases where kids have attacked, stabbed, shot and even killed a parent because parent wouldn't let the brat have his/her own way...If I ever raised hand to either of my parents, I wouldn't be here typing now...
umm.. I am a mother of a son who's dad chooses not to be in the picture. And I have no problem "rearend kicking" when necessary. I kinda take offense to that.
I'm proud of you Mom... But schools are so scared of lawsuits that you can ask many school districts and most will tell you that they don't dare paddle kids anymore. They have ISS, what a joke.
