I'd put Netherly back at WR.

Manvel needs to run Jolivette at RB and get him ready to take the starting RB job. Kid needs touches.

Preston and Stokes are a serious combo at WR. Hopefully the defense will play well and give the offense time to fully develope over the season. Nice stand by Crosby defense.

Manvel by 10+. Manvel has the weapons to destroy teams once they get rolling and possibly fielding the best LB core in school history. Minus the hype... Manvel returned its best WR, LB, SS, DE and DT from last years team. The young QB will have to play well to outscore a team like Crosby, therefore the defense has to make stops and give him the opportunity to find rhythm. The kid knows the O better than any "1st time starting" QB Manvel has fielded and ALL of them are D1. The kid is a flatout winner hence his 7 on 7 performances. If Manvel line up and call aggressive/nasty football I think Crosby is in for a long night. On the other hand... get to pretty and the upset is on. Netherly is the truth and he has plenty of help around him.

PAM kids have too much pride, played too many big games!  21-5A tested... year in and year out! I don't care what that scrimmage looked like... Scrimmages games are designed to point out weaknesses and make adjustments prior to regular season.  Gamers will step up!  One team is proven winners, the other isn't... Yeah Dawson didn't know what hit them... Nederland had some good skill kids also.  The QB, RB & WR were ball players.  I want to see what they bring this year.  Hopefully I can catch them.  I watch a game every Thurs, Fri and Sat and don't mind traveling.

Lineman is a must.  As much as I love skill players... once you see teams like Katy, Allen and other trench heavy elites you realize what the battle at the line of scrimmage truly mean.  Man I saw Nederland whip the sh!t out of Dawson at the line of scrimmage last year a Reliant.  On both sides of the ball.  Honestly I think Nederland could have kept it simple and ran the ball down there throats all night.  SC has the athletes to be special again and they are my favorites to win Region 3. Sharp is a Legit Stud and he must put the team on his back if he wants a shot a the State Title.

I think you guys just played flat after half and let the momentum switch, but they did make some nice adjustments.  The LP game was ALL Hoza Scott!  And NS escaped!  DP was a very solid squad.  Means (QB) will be back, but what about that RB?

Hey I watched DP a few times 3 times last year. Though Spring ran through, over and around them... after that they were SOLID!  I knew Pearland was in trouble. Nice addition to 21-5A.

Ok... Now it look like that title invites a Manvel fan also. :o

These teams are so good and evenly matched... you just have to wait until the clock show zero's.  Of course Katy is the favorites and if things go as usual I'll be there cheering them on like last year.
