The talks that Gage has done for the kids that are coming up in the BH program to motivate them to being a better player far out weights anything I had seen when Price was here. We have never been known for our dirty play, except for the barely late hit on Ned qb last week. We also are very disciplined and don't receive many penalties due to good coaching. However, there is some bad blood brewing between us and Dayton and I wouldn't put anything past our agressive defense next week. I just hope we don't get anybody thrown out of the game. Snap your chin straps tight big D because our defense is gonna bring it.

Haven't seen Vidor play this year but we beat them pretty bad the last time we played em. I think it was back in the 3 A days. I loved their military marching band though. Hey, thats it! Since Ned won't let Vidor be a rivalry in football, y'all can start the military marching band rivalry!

BH can win this game if they play mistake free. We had 5 center-qb fumble exchanges against Nederland. I believe the coach will solve that problem this week in practice. We can play a better offense than we did last week. Nederland has a better defense than some are giving them credit for. As for big D; they beat us like red-headed step children last year. However, this year our team is stronger and I think Dayton lost a lot on defense due to graduation. The Dayton qb is probably the best in the area, including 20 4A. I think the Ike game may provide some more insight. Anyway, I predict a close, hard smash- mouth game on the 23rd. I'll save my prediction on the score until next week.

Just got home from the game. BH defense kept us in the game. Your kicker missed a close one with 2 seconds left or we would be the sad ones tonight. I thought the call was a good one by the ref in ot. The receiver pushed off the corner to get seperation before the ball arrived. I am just very suprised the ref made that call in bulldog stadium in that situation. I thought the BH receivers were mugged all night by the Ned secondary and couldn't buy a flag. In any event BH won because #8 swept around the left end behind great blocking by #20 and dove into the corner of the endzone for 6. That play worked both times we ran it. The offense struggled more than I expected, especiall with the fumbles. Our defense did an outstanding job. Ned is a lot tougher than I expected. I think you will do well in district. I will pray for Raines to recover. I was also impressed with the running of Edwin Nelson. Hope y'all win the rest of your games.

You are right, that would be foolish. I was just adding up the tally. I am predicting a BH victory based on the two opponents y'all played and how many yards and points your defense has given up. It usually comes down to how good a defense is when two teams are evenly matched, as most on this blog agree.  I just think our defense is better than yours regardless of how weak you think our opponents have been IMO. :D [/quote]
