Trocket

After Livingston get through stomping BH, the sweep theory will be over.

We still have to remember that SC has not played a player the like of Montana, who along with Collins are the best atheletes of 20-4A or 19-4A. With Montana being my MVP pick of both district, but if SC plays like they played last Friday, it will be interesting to watch. Gotta go with SC though they are well balanced.

Collins is a better qb than Walter or Sharp but he's going to Texas to play db, and who the heck is Mitchell? Tony Brown is the most highly recruited player in that district and it's not close. Montana is a good runner, he's one dimensional, that's why he has one td and 4 picks. Quirante is going to play lb or safety in college. Collins is a good DB, that's it. Hopkins is better than jones, and that's not my opinion, that's what they guy that coach on saturday think.  Y'all only have two good offenses in 20-4a, and Livingston isn't one. [/quote] Ok trocket help me understand this ;D Here is some stats for you to work with QB's Livinston's Collins - Comp = 30 Attempts = 70 for 42% average........Yards through the air 498 for 5 TD's and 6 INT's. On the ground he ran  104 times for 494 yards and 9 TD's BH's Denny - Comp = 30 Attempts = 53 for 57% average........Yards through the air 508 for 3 TD's and 1 INT's. On the ground he ran  54 times for 540 yards and 10 TD's Denny only played 8 games this year not sure about Collins. Not seeing a superman here Now lets look at the top RB's for each team ;D Livingston's Thomas - Ran 136 times for 624 yards and 3 TD's BH's O'Neal - Ran 119 times for 880 yards and 10 TD's Not sure how accurate these stats are from the Chronicle ,but if what i'm seeing here these guys cant even touch the Twins from Crosby or most RB's in our district. :-X 8) [/quote]Don't get me wrong I believe in keeping it real when we are talking serious football, Your QB is a good QB and really the best player on your team but he is the 2nd or 3rd best QB in your district "depending on what offense you want to run". Denny also has some wheels and can throw the ball effectivly if needed. Livingston also has a better #2 back than BH which should help mix it up some. He is a ut commit as an athlete. He is not really a qb but will be the best athlete bh has seen this year. Sharpe from sc is a better qb though for sure. [/quote] It's talk like this that has fueled the Cardinals all year. Everyone counted them out or dismissed them after last years graduation. So far they have been able to prove most critics wrong. Last years squad went 4-1 and finished 2nd in district, this years team 4-2 and finished 3rd. Also this team had a much tougher overall schedule, especially non-district. I'm not here saying BC will beat Coldspring but what I am saying is that comments like the ones above are usually made by those who don't have all the information. Yea, Livingston beat Manor in the 1st round the year we lost to Dayton in the 3rd round With Harris as our QB in his Junior year.
