1. If they are 4-2 or 3-3 after their first 6 games, or 3-0 or 2-1 after their first 3 district games, then I believe they will be fine and make the playoffs again.
 2. Dayton @ Livingston- This game will tell what kind of team we will have this year.
 3. Could be a long seaon for OZEN with this schedule.
 4.
Preseason predictions are just that...preseason predictions.  You still have to play the games.
Right you are, can't wait untill they line them up and blow the whistle, everytrhing else is irrelevant.
 5. I wouldn't count Vidor out, but until you all beat Nederland next year, I have to just respect your team as being a strong 20-4A team who could beat anyone on a given night. Now when you beat Nederland this coming year, which I believe you can, you will earn everyone's respect including DCTF.
 6. Looks like Livingston and Central will have to break some hearts this year. 8) 8) 8) 8)
 7.
Summer conditioning is going well,  look improved at 7on7 on Monday.  I am seeing lots of postive things in Hardin.  Really like the new Coach.
That's good to here, I for one am pulling for you guys.  8) 8)
 8. Time to let bye gone's be bye gone's and come together as a community. ;D ;D ;D
 9.
why would anyone count ozen out? Png and Ozen, no matter the personnel, are tough.  Livingston is my wildcard because I just don't know enough about them.  Nederland on top. No question. Vidor right there, too...
At Livingston we are rebuilding or reloading, time will tell but we will be in the mix for sure. ;D
 10. Fort Bend Marshall won't be that much to handle, they will always have some talent because of where they are located. Their program is down right now and will be for a while longer even though they are no longer 5A. My son coached there when they open that school until 2007 under Coach Brantley who had them going in the right direction. at that time they we're making the playoffs quite often. In 4 years they turned out 20 D1 players with only Southlake Carrol turning out 1 more in 5 years. My son was his OF coordinator an recruiting coordinator back then, but they are not what they use to be. I don't know who is coaching there now but it will take some time to get back where they were at one time. The last 4 or 5 years they have been going down, a lot of kids are not choosing to go there who can chose to.

I think he has earned his spot on that list Montana Q on the other hand doesn't even have a profile on any of the major scouting sites and he doesn't have any scholarship offers that I know of.
Well i can't really argue with this ff. I can only argue what i saw and from my point of view Montana is a better player than Collins. But that's just my opinion. Maybe if someone were to send some highlight reels of montana out and get him some attention i wouldn't be the only one thinking so. And i would argue against the not being able to make your own profile on some of those recruiting websites. I know a few kids who have done so. Montana just isn't one of them.
You just have not had the chance to see enough of Collins to appreciate how good he is. I've seen Montana play about 4 times last year and he is a player I'd love to have on my team, but he and Collins bring different things to a team. I understand where you coming from and it's all good. Montana will get plenty of attention if he does weell next year, you can count on that.
Your right. I haven't had enough chances to see collins and it was wrong of me to just say montana is better because truthfully i don't know that because i haven't seen collins enough to compare them. My apologies.
It's all good, no apology needed. I love the way you have pride about your team and the player on it.

 13. Great!! That's the way to turn a program around, the parents have to convince their kids to at least give it a tryout. The kids on the team have to recruit other kids in their school to tryout. You never know where you will find a diamond. 8)
 14.

I was curious about this so I looked the playoff scores up from the last 10 years to see how the Golden Triangle 4A District has fared against the bunch west of the Trinity....the overall count in first round playoff games is a surprising 25-9 in favor of the Triangle teams...keep in mind that Dayton was in our district in 2006-07 and contributed wins to that total...The triangle teams have not had a losing record in this "series" since 2002 when they were 1-2
So 6 out of 9 losses came from Dayton.  Come-on 19 4a you need to pick up the slack.  Mainly talking to Crosby, Humble and sc because we all know bh won't at least not in football.
Its a fact that 19-4A is a much tougher district now so beware 20-4A ;D
I smell a repeat, 20-4A=3 wins and 19-4A=1 (Dayton saves the sweep again  ;D ;D :o :o ??? ???)
 15. Nederland, Vidor, Central, and guess who: Livingston in a rebuilding year will not be anyones floor mat for sure. They will make the playoffs this year. When district rolls around they will be ready!! 8) 8)
] Does this make you feel better?  Simulated game Ned vs Vidor. Ned Vidor Ozen PNG/Livingston Does anyone have a count down???? How many days to we kick off?
I love that website lol. But one problem. That doesn't have this year team so you can't get a real simulation of this year lol. BTW may i add that the game is at Boneyard this year.  8)
For now, we can only live in the past....how many more  days do we have to wait???? I can't wait til we get to travel to the boneyard...it will be a good one, for sure.  Let me say this, that will be a good measure for each program.  20 4 a is set for a classic season.  I do predict Ned on top; however, I know that injuries and obstacles can detour any team and 20 4A is NO cake walk.  No one should ever be underestimated in 20 4A  FOOTBALL except LCM (FootBall ONLY, baseball is a different story  and WHY in the heck can't they put those talented ball players on their football team  - that is another million dollar question everyone always wants to know about LCM....!!!!) ;)
126 days until the District opener.  Nederland @ Vidor Sept 28th 7:30 p.m.
This without a doubt will be 20-4A game of the week! 8)
 17. I think it's hard to gage Nederland, because they played several teams last year without their best player. They will be good, but just how good they will be will be determined early, with the Brook and Vidor. Can't take anything from them, they won 20-4A championship but this will be a different year. I'm excited for it to start so we can find out who will do what. Gonna be a great year for football. 8)
