Dallas was going to get a WR in the draft regardless. Our scouting department which is the leagues best signed off on the trade and said it was great. He’s super young and already has 2 pro bowl years. Dallas is better with him then without him. Honestly who we’re we going to get in the draft? Not o line we are good, rb? Nope we got Zeke. D line? Naw we have plenty. Linebacker? Naw we are great young there? What about DB? Nope we are young there. You could make a case for safety but WR was more of a glaring need. We didn’t give Dak a true number 1 wr. Now we did, this is a show me deal. Dak has all the tools now to succeed and if he doesn’t, he’s not the guy and lets get someone else in here to lead this team. If Nederland, BH, and PNG all win which I expect them to do... next week BH PNG game is basically for number 1 or 2 seed a fighting chance at DC, a chance to have a home playoff game, it will have a playoff atmosphere to it. BH took Nederland to the final mins couple key mistakes game could have gone BH way just Nederland won the turnover margin and made less mistakes. They play 10 times they might split 5/5. The QB can sling that ball and the offense clicks well from what I could see. Defense was a little suspect, with going to zone and throwing underneath. But they tackled well flew to the ball. I believe they are even matched, and I wouldn’t call BH mediocre... they are in the thick of things for a possible number 2 seed... or a share of district championship... so I wouldnt call them mediocre. At practice a few years ago I remember several PNG fans were saying no tackling took place during practice... is this still true?
