Blaysin first complete game was the Dayton game. Offense clicking on all cylinders . Plus I wouldn’t say Dayton is bottom feeder team they nearly beat PNG last week. They are probably the states best winless team imo.

You wouldn’t have been a homer, we are far enough in the district now on who is great ball club, average ball club, and basketball season starting early ball club. What I keep saying repeatedly we will know a heck of a lot more about this district come 11pm on Friday. If Nederland, BH, and PNG all win which I expect them to do... next week BH PNG game is basically for number 1 or 2 seed a fighting chance at DC, a chance to have a home playoff game, it will have a playoff atmosphere to it. BH took Nederland to the final mins couple key mistakes game could have gone BH way just Nederland won the turnover margin and made less mistakes. They play 10 times they might split 5/5. The QB can sling that ball and the offense clicks well from what I could see. Defense was a little suspect, with going to zone and throwing underneath. But they tackled well flew to the ball. BH will make noise.

I believe they are even matched, and I wouldn’t call BH mediocre... they are in the thick of things for a possible number 2 seed... or a share of district championship... so I wouldnt call them mediocre. Come Friday night at 11pm we will know where things stand a lot more clearer... hard to say with 3 games left.

Question to the PNG faithfuls, is BF still not letting kids play both ways...? At practice a few years ago I remember several PNG fans were saying no tackling took place during practice... is this still true? I’m just curious does this play a roll to y’all defense troubles... are the boys only seeing tackling body on body come Friday nights?

Vidor is game is one of two things either a blowout win or close game win or loss no in between with this game. Here as of late I guess we can go back the last 10 years I’m sure we’ll more than half have been decided by less than a touchdown. It’s always a great game and test of discipline football and physical football... A Mathews coached team is always very disciplined, and make you pay for your mistakes if you don’t watch out. We have the bigs up front to take on that Vidor o line just gotta play smart football. Vidor how big is your o line this year, y’all usually have some big boys. I’m always impressed how well yall’s line can hang in the game how much them guards pull and take hits and just keep rolling and going they never get winded.

Don’t forget the BH test, the hill is a good very good ball club.
