8.
Do we park in the blue lot, and is that the south lot? And is anyone tailgating before the game..Let me know please about what lot is the closest to the home side thanks.
I talked with several people and the word is that we will be tailgating going on just like the game against Dayton @ Lamar. I am bringing food and such so everyone come out and support! Is anyone meeting up at the high school and doining the Bulldog Caravan to the stadium this year??
 9. Just curious, how many Mustang Defensive TD's have yall had this year??
 10. I know several people within Lamar and there was a big confrence call today at 1 with Lamar, SBC committee, from what i heard is it went pretty good but no word or anything... even Texas St is making a push for us to get into the confrence. And SBC is also claiming we are a Houston Area market. The another big key to it all is if our area can get CSN Houston in this area we will be able to get a game or two on the network we are actually considered the primary market being so close to the Houston Market but they do not show in the BMT area. A few cards need to fall but from I am hearing from several people is SBC is very interested in inviting Lamar back to the conference because of the history we have with some teams and old rivalries to renew on a yearly basis.

 12. School officials informed him prior to the season that his contract would not be renewed, because the district wanted to “move in a different direction.” Sounds like politics for sure...
 13. Wow that was some good explosive tackles and love how the whole D swarms to the ball very quick reminds me a lot like Nederland D
 14. The No-Name defense or the Big Ned Brigade
 15. Reliant Stadium Friday hopefully a Bulldog Win
 16.
ATX31 is that a guess or do you know something
Talked to several people at Lamar and they put a presentation for the confrence Karl Benson and several people came to Beaumont to check out Lamar and the facilites several good things were said some issues that Lamar needs to work on very soon but overall SBC is expanding west
 17.

Great runs for sure. I was there. That first long run was like the second play for Ned. Too bad you don't have the clip for the LM player landing out of bounds on the TD.
I have that clip as well baddog, clearly out of bounds, also the face mask call against us which later the ref admitted to blowing the call. That call led to the out of bounds catch by LaMarque. Oh well, this Friday the Dogs change Reliant Luck in their favor!!!
Well we are 1-1 at Reliant we beat Brehnam the next year there.
 18.

This matchup reminds me of '01 in a way. Ned went into the quarterfinals against Friendswood. Ned 9-3 vs Friendswood 12-0, who had dominated the greater Houston area. Fw had lots of offense that year, Ned had enough offense and a good defense (but imo not as good as this year). The football gurus had us as a huge underdog in that game with little chance to win. That good defense slowed Fw way down and the same type offense we have now scored 25 pts. for a 25-14 (I think) win. Really good defense vs high octane offense will win most of the time. I really like our odds.
And Friendswood was ranked #2 in state that year.  The crowd was definitely the 12th man that game.  The final was 25-7.  Here is an article on it. [Hidden Content]
I was on the 99 00 and 01 varsity football team and I remember that game more than ever when we arrived the parents and community met us at the bus when we got to rice and wished us luck while they were tailgating and we knew it was going to be a big crowd but before we broke the tunnel a rice security guard told us there is more people at this game then a rice home game and when we came out of that tunnel and looked up into the stands me and a few guys said wow the stands were pretty full and we knew we had the 12th man that day and then when the time hit 0:00 nederland fans singing na-na-na-na hey hey hey goodbye and coach neumann got teary eyed (which he migh not admit it) lol it was a amzing day for football and Buldog history and I will always cherish that day because in 99 and 00 we couldnt get over the hump and we finally did that day. The Smithson Valley game was also a huge loud crowd for us too but just the Friendswood game sticks out more.
