So how is it their fault? So we going to have a * beside Desoto state championship last year because Coach_Izzy said so?  Desoto usually loses to Duncanville or SLC in the playoffs in D1

It is a simple concept. It doesn't matter who BU plays in the preseason when they are going 0 fer in district. You are on here advocating for moral victories which doesn't have anything to do with coaching or playing football.

Our sister schools made investments into their football programs and are now FBS. Lamar continues to half-qrse things. I quit writing checks a few years ago because I'm sick of the less than mediocre results.
Lamar, like the Beaumont area, just continues to get left behind while the rest of the state continues to move at warp speed. 
I still hate the move back to the SLC. What's Lamar gonna do when McNeese moves up? So disappointing...
