[/quote] Thats because you approach everything with an apples vs apples perspective when you can't do that in football.  Football is about match-ups, game plans, and style.    Nederland beat dayton 21-7, and Summer creek beat Dayton 45-7.  You conclusion is that Ned isn't as good as SC because of that score, however you discount how the two teams match up, what the key's of victory were for Ned, and the style of play (were they air it out, or ball control?).    This is why you didn't see GT coming, and its why you have a distorted view of how good YOUR team was. It is going to be interesting to see what kind of game Dawson and Nederland bring next week. [/quote] Yes we did lose, but when you have 4 turnovers the first quarter on your side of the field and still almost pull out a win 2 and a half hours away from your town in terrible weather. Plus Hopkins got hurt and Pryor (55) was out for a large portion of the game as well. I know we lost, and that game is over. But if we played again I would like Nederland's chances.

I feel like shoving it down there throat because they thought they were the best team ever. But in all honesty, they were a very talented group. They backed up most of the trash they talked. 11-1 and alot of good players returning. They ran into a Georgetown team that was more prepared then they were. Good luck to y'all next year.

Was there already a set place and time? Predictions as well.
