I dont think you can honestly look at Central or PAMs programs and say they are undisciplined. At times they get outcoached, but so do Neumann a d Faircloth. At times their kids make dumb penalties, but so do Nederland and PNG, Ive seen em. PAM and Central play hard nosed football, they are not soft and they dont quit... they are not undisciplined in those respects. Now I dont know enough about football nor do 99% of fans, to know if kids are not lined up right on defense. Nederland looks like a Chinese fire drill before each snap trying to align themselves to the formation. I got no clue if they end up in the right.spot, I just try to enjoy the games. Isnt it time to move on from the discipline thing and focus on the real issue which is the atmosphere.

When people do the wrong thing in Nederland, they are dealt with? Whats the big question?

Let's say I walk into a west Houston high school and have 40 total jerseys to fill. Over there, you are going to have 4-5 kids battling it out for each jersey. At Nederland, you probably won't have 40 kids that are varsity caliber in a single year. That makes a huge difference?

How many kids does Katy choose from versus Nederland or PNG. Im not discounting the system comment, but numbers play a huge part in it as well.

Our program is getting about everything we can out of what we go to work with. Lincoln basketball was one of the states elite programs year in and year out... Nederlands football talent, just doesn't put it in that category. I think you pretty much dropped the mic on this discussion in the first sentence of your response... of course you don't see D-1 recruiters kicking in Nederland doors. You said it all right there.

The resume' Neumann will have when he leaves will be anything but Mediocre, check his record, check his playoff wins, check his runs of 2 or more in the playoffs. He should've won the whole thing in 2000, but we had a call that just didn't go our way. There is a thread talking about what this area has to do to be relevant. Outside of WOS / Newton who just have elite players at their enrollments, it is tough IMO.

Nederlands academic performance is one of the best around this area. 5 Straight DC's, trip to the Regional Final, one of if not the premier athletic programs in all sports.... how are we settling again?

Nederland will need all the help they can get when they head over there. Two weeks of steady rain will be at least a little help.
