2. PNG has done a great job stepping up to pay for their facilities, but   We keep bringing our "Nederland" kids to your Taj mahal and holding our own.  We like PNG have gotten a few PA transfers here and there, but make no mistake, the kids on this nederland team are straight up home grown Nederland Bulldogs.  neumann just knows how to use his players like no other coach.  Goodness, can't wait for what's coming Friday
3. Now we gonna add some fuel to the fire, thanks for the bulletin board material PNGFan, good job.  Last " moveover I remember was Benjamin, but who could blame him.  There may be some in the under levels, but the kids on this varsity team, everyone of em have bee in the Nederland football program from jump street, except for Kimler, and he came form west of PA, but prolly for the same reason.
4. This didn't get debunked just last year.  pNG has a lot of people in the stands... a good portion are loyal, but they are as fair weather or more than everyone else.  In this thread they will point to the state attendance record, and try to shut you up.
5.
Nederland better have someone to check Rose.  He's a beast.
Ned has a lock down corner who has manned up on the best recs teams have to offer.  Question will be, how will their qb get it to him laying on his back
6. I don't think he was interviewing for nothing this summer.  He could have a difficult time next year as well.  When the current group at Nederland were sophs, we started 6-7 sophs.  If what PNG had coming up was that good, they would be on varsity in my opinion.  PNG's fresh/8th grade are worth noting, but not sure how much they help next year.  Hope Fair cloth hangs around for pNG's sake.  He's a quality coach, just hit a dry patch..
7. That comparison is a bit of a SSSSSTTTTTRRRRRREEEEETTTTTTTCCCCCCHHHHHH.  It's a nice excuse to say we didn't come to play, or you could say PNG was that good?
8. I don't keep the stats, but had the same impression of our use of the bubble screens, they seem to be effective in my mind for what they are intended to be... long hand offs, and like you confirmed, they are effective.
9. What's the rule when the clock is stopped before a play, and there is a penalty on that play... does the clock wind?  I thought it always went back to what the clock was doing prior to the play when the penalty occurred.
10. Wow.  So DME, you been gone a little long maybe.  So Nederland doesn't get up for this game?  Wow is all I have to say.  We're fans on here talking bullsmack.  Those boys are gonna strap it on and go to work, that's the only way Neumann allows it to happen.  Dogs are coming, and we're bringing our BELOVED D with us, we'll see if you wished we woulda left em at home when it's done. You may want to take a page from PNG Proud's book and keep the bulletin board material to a minimum.
11. One last comment, LCM played very well tonight, their program has come a long way under Crouch.  Good job over there, they will factor into the playoff race, not sure if they make it, but they will give Ozen a run for their money in my opinion.
12. Just because it's frustrating when it doesn't work a time or two, doesn't mean the reality is that it's not effective.  From my seat, 80-90 percent of the time it does exactly what it's intended to do, gain 4-5 yards with a chance to gain a lot more.  There were a couple of times we didn't block well and gained minimal yardage or lost yardage, but I'm not a throw the baby out with the bath water kind of guy.  The bubble screen is a long handoff to get the ball in our playmakers hands in space, and I've seen it be very effective so far this year.  That's just my opinion.
13. I'll take one defender against Michael Shaw every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
14. Totally disagree on the bubble screens, these are the highest percentage opportunities to get the ball into Shaw's hands in space,we just have to block better.  He is electric, one of the most electric players in the area.  That TD run on the reveerse was sick.  Just my opinion.  Plus, the bubble screens are always setting up something over the top.
15. You can throw the records out... but the players that each team actually have will be playing the game... and phunter's score is about right.
16. Its a little bit of the chicken or the egg, I personally would like to see us clean up the execution before opening up the playbook.
17. Who's Trahan?  Did you mean Taylor?  If so agree, he needs.touches.
18. If we don't throw it to the other team, don't hold when you're not at the point of attack, and catch the ball when it hits us in the hands behind the defense.. This game isn't close, that's called execution, not play calling?  I'm sure the playbook will get opened up more too, but we need to execute better.  We are playing SLOPpY football and its getting late enough where we need to clean it up.
19. Also have Mayfield returning next year
20. Sullivan was as much a factor in creating that magic as Driskell, it takes two to make the wraparound work.
21. More upside than Driskell in my opinion, no disrespect to DD, he was a stud.
22.
Nederland's under level football teams are .500...
Krautz is a stud.
23. 87, you sitting in on coaches meetings, if not, button up the plan for 2014, kind silly to hear this
