I hate to admit this but I actually saw Sabine Pass JV a couple of time last year (I GOTTA GET A LIFE : : :)If they move up everyone they still fight for 5th.BS,Spurger,HD,WH get the top 4 spots.Then its a dogfight SP,Evadale and HI.

Great to finally get to watch some hoops.HJ played very good defensively tonight and Sungren played very well on the block.When they pick up a little depth at the post from the football team they are gonna be a lot of fun to watch.They struggled a little from the free throw line but other than that they looked very good.If there is a better small school team in setexas right now I haven't seen them.Kountze will be fine once they get a couple of key pieces from the football team.It's real early but both clubs played hard tonight and put on a pretty good show.And SETXSLAM is right on about the score I had it by quarters also.Good job Hawks,I hope I get to catch a few more games this season.

Good news for the girls at WH.Not a whole lot of coaches in SETEXAS that know more about the game than Angie.Her mom is a pretty doggone good bball coach in her own right.

Don't get me wrong,Kountze wins this game big either way but Johnathan Ward would certainly help the Raiders.He will be the go to guy on that club this year and he will probably still be playing football next week.

If I wasn't old and broke down I'd get some of what your smokin.Funniest stuff I've seen since Cheech and Chong quit makin movies. ;D ;D ;D ;D

They wouldn't look like the same club with Ancelot this year.They will have some growing pains but they will be OK,give em a little time.Tough opener for a young club but it will help em down the road.

HJ has some walking wounded and there starting PG didn't play tonight but overall they looked pretty good.They are gonna have some solid perimeter players and the big girl has improved tremendously from last year.Early first half jitters but they blew it open in the 3rd.These girls can be pretty solid before the years over.

I'm sure they will play it like a real game, but your right there won't be any winners or losers here just some hard work and good bball.HJ will have most of there top kids and Kountze will be missing several.If both teams have all there players HJ wins by 10,in this scrimmage its the Hawks by 20.

Just found out Parker is done for the year.Talked to his mom and she said the doctor told her it would have been better if he had broken it.Has some torn ligaments in his ankle and a severe sprain,hopes to be well by baseball season.That will change the complexion of this game completely.

This must be the boys,I don't think the HJ girls play Kountze.They open Tuesday with PNG.Regardless HJ would win it pretty handily.

Will be a good test the lady bobcats.Central will be very athletic and have some size.The home court is usually good for a few points a game.Nevertheless this one is close. Central-60 O-field-54.

I'll be yelling for HD but Groveton will be to tough.Groveton has a tremendous running back and a big quarterback who will make enough plays to win. Groveton-28 HD-14

If Thomas is healthy no one in 24aa handles him.You just have to hope to keep him from breaking the long runs.There is no doubt he is the heart and soul of this club on both sides of the ball.

No disrespect intended,just wondering why the big point spread.I've seen several Kountze post that said they should have beaten Buna.I watched Buna at EC and I think they are the best team in our district but I don't see 30 points difference in any of these clubs.Buna has to be the favorite but the Warren kids will show up and play hard.

He's tough as a boot,if he can walk he'll play.

I've seen Beep ball teams that wouldn't get beat 39-0,geez that's tough.

Lord thats the second one of those type scores I've heard this week.Are these clubs really that BAD!!!Anyone gets beat 92-4 might as well start warming up pitchers cause there basketball season is history.

I noticed looking at several different schedules that some of the better teams aren't in the Evadale tourney this year.Looks like they lost HJ,EC and Liberty to name a few.Does anyone know who all is in it this year?

Yep, but they wouldn't have to this year.They will win 24a regardless of who they play in the non district schedule.Anytime you play Kountze and EC you play a tough schedule.

Kountze wins if they aren't in the football playoffs.If they are New Waverly probably beats their second group.

These 2 clubs played each other alot during the off season last year both at Warren and Jasper and Brookeland.These games were always very competetive.Neither club will have much time to work as a team so I wouldn't put a whole lot in it either way.It will be a good chance for Warren to see the kind of athletes they will see in the district.I think it will be a pretty close game,I wish it was in Warren.

I wouldn't put a lot of weight on the non district schedules in 24aa this year.There are some teams that are playing brutal schedules that will help get them ready for the district grind.They may not have a real good record but the will be ready to play when it counts.The 2 toughest look to be Anahuac and EC . Kountze always plays a tough preseason schedule.Anyone wanting to compete in this district better have the kinks worked out by mid December.
