Your right Steelrcrazy don't know what I was thinking disagreeing with you .The Pirates will roll thru the non district schedule undefeated and then plow thru the rest of the district.The previous 2 year schedule has worked wonders for D-Ville and the rest of the district is way down this year.You should be a lock.

Anahuac and Woodville will be very close at the skill positions.

Didn't realize I had to agree with you to be a big person.I have never bashed D-ville,just said a weak schedule wouldn't help them.I stand by that opinion.I do think you are wrong about the preseason schedule not meaning anything.Things that work now may not work against a little stronger teams.I yell for all the 24aa clubs on a weekly basis before district starts and will continue to do so.Iguess we will just have to disagree on this one.By the way I picked D-ville by 50 how can that be considered downing them?

I don't know where Fontenot was last year but believe me he can play on anybodys varsity.McNeely also had a good summer.These 2 will get there share of quality minutes.I didn't get to see Sungren or Ricossa play this summer but I'm sure the HJ coaches will have them ready to go too.

They had there big guy when I saw them and I saw Copeland play several times this summer.The big kid they have coming back is no match for BS post or Spurger's.Tyler will do a great job but I still say he has very little help.If they play 500 ball this year that will be a very successful season.

Didn't Woodville just hang 50+ on Splendora?If so I'm still goin with the Panthers.

I could care less who Deweyville plays.Your exactly right thats the coaches and ad's decision.I was not slamming D-ville just giving my honest opinion.Beating small overmatched teams is not going to prepare them for their district schedule.They have made the playoffs 2 years in a row so they should have strengthed there schedule this year for there own good.If they choose not to do that its fine with me.I can tell you this 4-0 in non district action won't mean anything to EC,Buna,Hardin,Kountze,Anahuac or Warren.I just think after you get your program turned around you benefit from a little tougher competition.

Probably would be a good idea not to play this one.I don't think anyone gets anything out of it.Gotta yell for the HI kids after seeing their community efforts after the hurricane,but Hardin wins this one BIG.

If HD thought Kountze was physical ,they ain't seen nothing yet. Buna-48 HD-14

Woodville is pretty solid but I don't see them playing with Newton or Corrigan.May battle Hemphill for the 3rd spot.

Deweyville by 50 +,but this schedule isn't helping the pirates at all.

I don't see many 100 pt games this year either,most of the teams in the district will be improved so it will be tough to hang a 100 up.Kountze will have the athletes to push the ball but may not have the rebounding they had last year to start the breaks.I think they were the only club in the district last year to put up those numbers.EC and Warren usually score in the 60-70 pt range.

I don't think that's what he was saying at all.Kountze won state last year so they were definitely the best team.While this years Kountze club will be very good alot of their guys graduated.I think anytime you have shooters like the Warren club you have a chance.The best team will win,who that is we won't know until February.Should be a real fun year in 24aa again.

I know they got 1 from Liberty last year after the season.Not sure if they have another one or not.They could have 7 play at home and a different 7 on the road.I don't know how Todd keeps em all playing with just 1 ball but he does.

WH will have a tough year this year following last years season.Copeland will be the best player in the district but teams will have lots of options defending him.Not much help from the rest of the Oilers.I didn't see a big guy for them this summer that could match up with BS big guy or Whittacre from Spurger.If WH plays up to there potential they could finish 4th.

Don't know much about Anahuac this year so I can't say anything about them.Warren will compete with there defense keeping them in the hunt.If they are going to have a chance at a playoff spot they are gonna have to get the offense going and finish drives.They moved the ball inside the 10 yd line 4 times against Wdvl with 1st downs and didn't score.You can't do that in district and make the playoffs.

I guess your right Hardin will get better and better while Buna sits around and dreams about the glory days.WH has about 3 kids on the sideline so it may not be conditioning with them.They are just having to play both ways against teams with a lot more players.Tubbs ran the ball pretty well against us.

Tramain can pass with anyone in this district.Buna and EC will both continue to improve barring injury.I don't think they will just rest on there reputation.Both are very physical football teams.The team that can win one on the road will be the club that sneaks in the last playoff spot.

They are improved but there not in EC or Buna's league yet,but they could make the playoffs.There speed at the skill positions may get them past Deweyville.We won't have to wait long to find out.

No disrespect but its gonna be alot tougher against EC and Buna than it is against Groveton and WH.I don't see anyone goin 8-0 in this district ,not to say someone couldn't there are just a lot of clubs that are real even.

WH will make the playoffs.If they stay healthy I think they will win that district in football.They are playing up with a pretty small roster but that will benefit them when they start district.Give em some time to grow up after losing Letsinger,Simmons and CO. they will be fine.

These 2 are definitely playing better this year.Unfortunately so are EC and Buna.I honestly don't know who gets the nod for the 3rd playoff spot.Hardin seems to be playing good offense while Kountze is pretty well rounded.Anahuac seems to be better also.Warren has a solid defense but is having trouble scoring points.Deweyville is still a question to me ,they should be pretty good but there competiton has been weak to say the least.Looks like a pretty good battle for the 3rd spot.Good luck 24aa.
