I think they had 2 errors thru 6 according to the gentleman who was keeping the books,but overall a well played game.Not a ton of errors in the 7th just a few ill timed ones.Pitching depth will be the season long question here.That being said you still gotta protect the lines in the late innings.Coaching wasn't the problem just a break down in concentration.Still these kids are fun to watch,you never know which club will show up.

They have a good young coach and solid player to build around but the district will be alot tougher next year than it was this year.BS,HD and Spurger will all be improved.A playoff spot will be tough for the oilers.Best of luck to the kids they have a tough act to follow.

That wasn't meant as knock on you.I have alot of respect for you as a ball player and your dad as a coach.Deweyville will benefit from your return and along with Kevin ya'll will be fine.I was just showing how balanced I thought the district would be.I was always impressed with Jacobs ability to dish the rock,but I have to admit I did not see either one of you this year.Welcome back to 24aa it is gonna be fun to watch next year.

Warren has alot of defensive starters back off a very good unit.These kids will flat out hit ya.Don't know if they have anyone to fill Esways shoes on the offensive side.They will be very competetive again next year.

It's easy to second guess coaches after the fact.When Caleb was pulled in the 7th he was due to lead off the bottom of the inning.After him they weren't in the meat of the order so nothing really happened to the sticks they were just in the dugout.Tucker got a good leadoff hit just nothing after that.As far as the talent in the dugout Esway could help.Tucker is a pretty solid hitter.not many more in the dugout from what I've seen.I don't think they are carrying but 12 now.Bottom line in a small 2-a school you need everyone to play to be successful.This program wasn't brought down overnight and it won't be rebuilt that quickly either.Good luck to the Warriors the rest of the way.

I don't see how you can return 7 of your top 8 players and not be a lot better.I think the top 3 in this district is gonna be a whole lot closer this coming year.Brey will really have to step the scoring.Kountze will be good but they just had 60+ points a game walk out the door.EC will still be solid with Tramain and Vance but they lost a huge part of their game with Preston and Eugene.Caleb is a good shooting guard but Jacob was a big part of his offensive production and Bland is very good.Not sure what Marsh has coming back to help him so one thing is for sure,this district will be a lot of fun to watch.I still like the Warriors chances.

This one will really hurt the playoff chances and it's one the Warriors definitely should have won.6-0 going in to the 7th you gotta like your chances.It's still all about pitching and defense for the Warriors.Levi West made some super plays in Center and Trey was once again money behind the plate.Kids went to sleep in the 7th and it cost em.Gotta protect the lines in the late innings.Very well played game thru 6 and a lot of fun to watch.

I think Warren will battle EC and Kountze very close next year.Kountze lost Powell,Busby,Haynes and Boykin.EC lost preston and Leday.Warren has almost everyone back.I don't think they will be shooting for 3rd.Hardin and Deweyville will also be pretty solid,this district will once again be very tough.I just think several teams have closed the gap.

It will be tough to get 24 in the district their gonna be in.He will make Deweyville a lot better.There will be a couple of pretty good teams in this district next year that won't make the playoffs.

Travis McBee and Brody Parker from Warren.Both are solid.Parker played well last year(even with a seperated shoulder he suffered on the 1st day of practice).McBee is a returning all district backer

Deweyville will have a hard time replacing Justin Williams.As Warren will replacing Esway.EC gets the top spot,everything else is wide open ;)

They might not should have done that to Dville or beat Hardin but the fact is they did.The most dangerous thing you can do is let a young club get a little confidence.This club has the potential to be very good defensively and they can hit.Buna hasn't been as overpowering as I thought they would be.I am surprised the Warriors are 2-1 in district,but they are so just congratulate em and move on.Go Warriors

Tyler will be solid,but lord it's tough when you lose that many seniors.Big Sandy,HD and Spurger will all be looking for revenge.The oilers have a good coach but its gonna be tough to get over the 500 mark next year.

They have all been playing basketball.Haven't been practicing but about 2 weeks.

He will make them better,no doubt.This district will be brutal again next year.EC returns Tramain and Vance,Kountze will have a new group,Warren returns almost everyone,Hardin will still have Marsh.There won't be any off nights next year.

Gotta give props to my boys from Warren.They have 7 of their top 8 players coming back from a 24-8 club.These kids will stay in the gym this summer and will be a pretty solid club next year.

They'll be fine.Weldon and Payne will step up and Jarvis,Burrell and Sungren are all ready to assume the role.The staff makes a huge difference.

If the knee holds up this will be interesting.Esway can fly.The track team at Warren is a thing of the past unfortunately.They used to field a team every year that could compete with the best of em.It has died a slow and painful death.

Warren sent a busload to the regional tournament last year with Word and B Sims advancing to the the state meet.Word and Carnley are better as a team at this point this year.McBee and P Sims qualified for the regional tourney last year and won a couple of rounds before being eliminated.These 2 are very good athletes that haven't been playing tennis long.They could compete for the other regional berth.Jacobsen and Mitchell and Granger along with Casey Word will make this a pretty solid team.

If he brings his dad there an instant contender ;)

972,Thanks for that post.That's exactly what I was thinking.You just said it in a way that didn't offend anyone.I don't agree with getting the kids ready for college probably 1 in 500 will actually get the chance to play at the next level.
