WOS is a very good team, I don't believe anyone has said any different. and Kountze is getting very good.....I doubt PNG-W would beat them by 40. They have a lot of good kids......and I will say this: I have not seen better sportsmanship in any team we have played.  When we played them in regular season the boys were helping up our boys and we did the same. There was no late hits, personal fouls or any sportsmanship issues. We have  scrimmaged them several times and we see the same. The boys laughing with each other and complimenting each other on good hits and plays. THAT my friends, is fun to watch and makes you realize what this league is all about! What's up with the constant pop up ads this am????? Anyone else seeing an ad pop up every time you change screens? Not just one pop up ad, but one every time I switch to another screen on forum!!! Way too much and frustrating!

I would surely buy seats for that one!!! And all proceeds could benefit the league or each league or however everyone agrees! That would be so much fun for us and the kids!!! Boys would eat that up!!

[/quote] Great question........I have NEVER seen a Jr. high or High School coach at any youth football practice......and this is my 7th year in youth (and sadly last)....... Wish I would see more involvement..... [/quote] That's because they (some coaches) tell the kids coming out of youth ball to forget everything they learned in STJFL because they won't need it or use it! Ya! There's no collaboration or support at all!! They actually discourage our youth program. Very disappointing! And I'm afraid that won't change until BIG changes are made......if you are picking up what I'm putting down?

Without getting into much detail, ill just say "we" are working on this PROBLEM! The difference between our youth and school ball is youth is driven by dedication and desire from volunteers and parents, and school ball is driven by a paycheck. 😔 Concerns have already been addressed to those that can make a difference, and positive things for our athletes are already happening this school year. The big picture won't be seen over night, but I have high hopes for a brighter future!! We currently have some outstanding athlete advocates with kids playing middle school ball this year, and I can promise you they are fighting, and will KEEP fighting, for a better program for their kids.....And there's more coming up behind them!😉 With that being said.....all we want is what's best for our chilldren, and there's obvious room for improvements when it comes to some areas of our schools's athletics. There are MANY, MANY great things happening in LISD, please know this! We love our schools! We also have many great coaches within our athletics department.... just obvious room for improvements, and they are happening! 😉

Lum w 35 Png g 0 This was a great, special game! Png g plays hard, and fights until the last whistle!  No giving up or losing their drive!! They will be a great team next season!!  Great job boys!! Lum w played their 2nd and 3rd string players throughout every play today! Every TD, except 1, was scored by a player that has not scored this season, and each TD was scored by a different player! Kudos to Lum w coaches!!! Lots of happy boys on cloud nine this afternoon!

I'm under the impression that playoffs start the weekend of the 27th in Orangefield. I'm not sure about the Super Bowl.
