Regardless, of how many starters were 'injured' Liberty was unable to 'seal the Deel' against Cleveland... And it is my prediction, that there will be more excuses this year... Starting with, 'our qb is young,' and ending with 'the coaches had concussions.' There are differences between being hurt and being injured... How many of those injuries required 'medical' treatment? I guess it is a good thing you didn't make the playoffs, your mght not have been able to field a team... How many of those injuries included the 6 D-1 prospects that you claim to have had? Anyway, THAT'S in the PAST!! Good luck to all teams, and I hope someone beats Coldspring this year, JUST TO SHAKE IT UP A LITTLE!!!  :)

You guys need to go watch film... Huffman throws the ball down the field more than most teams in 3A that run the spread... Liberty makes a living on a 5 yard out. Townley had a stronger arm than Fitz, but just because Fitz is 6'5" he's a better 'prospect!' Speaking of QB's, has anyone seen how much better the Cleveland kid has gotten? Speaking of Fitz is a dead point, he's gone... BUILT in EXCUSE for Liberty!!!

It's funny to me and pretty much EVERYONE in the football world that the loss and 1 player and replacing him with this phenom of an athlete would cause y'all to lose the game to Cleveland much less blow a 20 point lead. This is awesome!! When does football start?!?! I don't think Liberty matches up with Huffman offensively... They had 4 'vetran' o-linemen and gave up like 7 sacks against Huffman last year? Cleveland will do more of the same this year to Liberty!! Liberty does have a RB that average 15 yards a carry, IN NON-DISTRICT, and like 3 in district... Cleveland is very ATHELTIC, Coldspring is athletic and well coached... They will be tough to beat!!
