If it is indeed a case of some parents causing trouble because they want their child as starting QB, shame on them.  My parents always made it clear you "deserve;work" for things, you are not "entitled" to anything.  As a mother with two children that are very active in sports, I would never stoop that low to have my child be the starter.  If my child were to take a starting position, you better believe they worked their tail off to get it.

Keep your head up, it will get better.  I've been a Pirate since I was born and had a sibling who was a football star for Vidor.  I said a while back that I can remember when Coach Law was here and the fans would chant, up the middle, up the middle, pass, punt!!  That is how the entire game was played.  I loved my Pirates then and love them now.  Stick with them, you guys are just having a down year.  Kudos to those boys that get out there every Friday night under those lights and play their hearts out!!

The man just stepped back after it happened, no help offered to the kid, nothing.  As a parent, I would have been out of the stands issuing my own punishment on that coach.

Vidor churns through Lumberton like a Cat 5 hurricane and knocks the Choo Choo off its tracks before kick off. Vidor in lopsided score of at least 30 and we allow the L-Train to get a TD out of sympathy.

I was nervous going into the half but I'm so proud of our boys turning it around in the second half! Thank God we recovered all of our fumbles with the exception of 1!
