1. Always fun to see two teams undefeated in district going head to head in week 10 for the district title!
2. I know the man that keeps the stats each game, but I don't have his #. I will track him down at the Kountze game and get back with you.
3. WOSgrad, do you have any of the team defensive stats for Newton? I saw points allowed on the stats post, but nothing on yardage. Thanks
4. Looks like Cameron Yoe has dist.12 with a 5-0 dist. record Little River Academy is 4-1 Troy and Marlin are both 3-2 McGregor is 3-3
5.
Who would ec play?
EC will play the winner of : # 2 seed out of dist. 11 (which will be the loser of the Crockett vs Malakoff game) # 3 seed out of dist. 12 (not sure who that will be yet)
6.
for newton, its looking like Tatum or white-oak, i think they play this week but not 100% sure.
the white oak and tatum game is critical for this district if white oak wins they win district and newton plays tatum. If Tatum wins white oak does not make the playoffs and newton plays jefferson .
7. Both team 8-1 (4-0 dist.) Looks like a good matchup for district 11-2a d1 camps.
8. Newton will be playing Tatum/Jefferson in round 1. Winner of that game will play Crockett in round 2. Things are starting to clear up. Playoff time!!
9. Do you have any of the defensive stats on Newton, I saw the points allowed but nothing on yardage. Thanks
10. Buna still has a good full back in #32 who has been playing defense this year. I still think Woodville will prevail, but should be a good game. Woodville 35 Buna 28
11. [move][/move]
Newton's ranking is based on emotion and past history and has little to do with the football they are playing on the field today. East Chambers has out played them and gone deeper into the payoffs for the last two seasons, and this season will not be any different.  Thank god for East Chambers that football is still played on the field and not in the newspaper.
EC went deeper in the playoffs last year, not the last two.
12. Looking forward to Newton vs Tatum or Jefferson, district 9 still up in the air.
