A player of his caliber does not need to do that imo. Montana gets talked about alot  on this sight. Sure looked like he was trying to turn this into a look at me game after Montana scored his first touchdown and Collins walked all the way to our sideline beside him holding up the hookem  horns and jawing
thats unlike him, i'll see what went on tomorrow night.
A Picture is worth a thousand words...check out the Beaumont Enterprise article/pic...wow!
just seen it. i have no words. from the games ive been to he was never like that.
Buddy, i had much anticipation of watching Collins perform tonight. He is no doubt a great athlete but it will do him well to get served reallity for breakfast in the morning. Me personally, if i was the Liv coach, i would have sat him seconds after that picture was taken. His behavoir  throughout the game may have cost him more than just a district loss.
 2. sail on Pirates................sail on through the playoffs..................CONGRATS! TO ALL.
 3. revenge of the titans! ;D hey, this is for the DC now?
 4.
Collins is a very good athelete but as a football player he made some really bad decisions IMO. I cant tell you how many times Livingston had 2nd or 3rd and 15+ because he would run around in the backfield and get sacked for a 10 yard loss. I mean the guy scrambles to the sideline looks down field and instead of just throwing the ball away he just steps out of bounds for a 5 yard loss, and the 4th down lol lets just run around and take a 20 yard sack at your own 1 yard line. Throw the ball up man, give one of your big recievers a chance to make a play, cant do it all you self Chevoski. Granted he did make some plays but Montana Quirante looked more like the big play QB.
+1 on your first post.

I have said that since back in the 80's.
And that is all I am saying....Would like for Vidor to have that extra weapon!!!
May see more passing next year as our running QB, MQ, will graduate.  Still, the Slot-T, by it's very nature, is a run-heavy offense. Livingston's version is more varied with the shotgun, zone read, and even some spread with quite a bit more passing.  I think all the "extras" that the Lions run  may be geared to Collins' abilities however and that makes their version more of a hybrid Slot-T, rather than Vidor's "pure" slot T.
Why? I'm so tired of hearing about us not passing...we average approx. 35 point per game and beat the other team down. Most 4A schools have players that go both ways and they run out of gas (i.e. Collins). It's a scheme, a rhythym. We run the ball, run the clock, wear the other team down. We used to throw the ball all the time, what did it get us? This offense and this scheme has put us into the playoffs three of the last four years and maximizes the talent we have while negating the other teams. It cuts down the opportunities they have the ball. If you want the spread, go watch png.
YEAH! +1

 7.
All i know is that when you have 25 to 30 police officers watching the handshake  the refs  definitely let the game get out of hand
and 20 of them escorted the refs off the field.

Sure looked like he was trying to turn this into a look at me game after Montana scored his first touchdown and Collins walked all the way to our sideline beside him holding up the hookem  horns and jawing
There are similarities between QB's, both are their teams main offensive weapons, both start on defense, both are very athletic, etc, etc., but if Collins was going into this game looking at it as a Chevoski vs Montana matchup, then I think he wound up being a little disappointed.
i am not sure if that was the case but it seemed like it. Jmo
that attitude wont cut it at the next level. especially the way he carried himself tonight. ut may think twice.
he repeated that action in the fourth quarter when the refs were trying to figure out what down it was. walked towards our sideline, gave the hookem horns sign, pointed at himself and then pointed at our sideline and gave a thumbs down. and  did the same thing towards the fans after the handshake and so did one of the liv coaches. don't know what the deal was, but that was as classless as it gets.

He never stops fighting for equal calls and his, as well as others, players safety. I have yet to see another coach beat him to an injured player whether it be one of his own or an opposing player. That alone speaks volumes for him.
as demonstrated tonight.
no major injuries in this one right?
none that i am aware of. liv had a player go down but i don't know the extent of it.
 11.
I do not think Vidor approaches this game any different... no need in having a let down before play-offs... i would think KATY BAR THE DOOR FULL STEAM AHEAD for The Mighty Vidor Pirates and The Black Pearl!!!
I agree!
 12. last game before the playoffs. how does Vidor approach?
