[/quote] How many teams run the spread? It's not copycatting, it a base offense and you develope around your strenghts. Maybe you should give it a little more time to develope. Just because you struggled last season doesn't mean you will this season. My junior year we went from the power I to the run and shoot and finished 4-6. My senior year with the run and shoot we finished 7-3, 5-2 in district and our loses were by 6, 3 and 6.

Gotta go with the home team. I look for Vidor to be more aggressive and less conservative in play calling and put more air under the ball. Especially in the 4th qtr. If anything from last year they should have learned that in the Ned game. Plus be more agressive on "D". Everyone knows all the prevent defense does is give you a chance to lose. Example, Montgomery in round two. Drove me nuts. Ned will be up there again along with PNG. Mid County Madness will decide 2nd & 3rd place. Central will still be trying to figure out what happened last year and Ozen unfortunately has a cloud above them. LC-M and Livingston could very well be battling out for the last playoff spot. Lumberton, they are still trying to get it back together but could be a spoiler for someone. Now matter how it turns out though. In the end it still ='s BH ONE AND DONE! ;D Good luck to all and dam it's nice to talk about 20-4a football! 8)

I don't know much about mako's. I mainly bass fish. But 3 years ago I traded up to a Nitro Z9CDC(center dual console) bass boat. It is 21' but with the jack plate it's = to 22'. I'll never go back to a split console. It rides much better and plains out level without hardly any trim adj. It handles the rough waters very well. It has a 96" beam and seat 4 accross. not that i'll ever have 4 in the boat with me. but there is plenty of room.

Jordan's Marine is pretty good. They are located off I-10 West between Vidor and Beaumont. I've been using them since 06 and haven't had any problems. They have their own little lake so everything is water tested.

A kid I coached about 6 years ago hit his 1st ever homerun. Aside from the funny dance he did, the ball actually took out the windshield of his mothers car.

[/quote] I 've always tried to fish mine perpendicular to the banks.  Tie one end off at the bank and another off on a snag in the water.  I'm excited about this year.  Wish I could get me some yellow mudcats for bait. [/quote] Up in the cuts we run them parallel where there is a slight bend. Now on the lakes, we come straight off the bank and tie a weight to the other end and let it sink. Usually a coffe can filled with concrete with an eyebolt in the middle. Last Jan. before rayburn got scary low, alot of people were doing good using noodles early in shallow water, I haven't tried the noodle thing yet.
