4.
What is the best site to find season records, especially for schools in the Greater Houston area?  Help would be greatly appreciated
this may help also ]

For Vidor I would like to see.... OF (scrimmage 1) WOS (scrimmage 2) Silsbee (I miss the games we used to have with them back in the day. talk about great games) BH (to keep it close to home and to further the trash talk between 19-4A and 20-4A  8) ) Texas High (i just like how the first two games came out and its always good to test your skills against a north texas team)
I'd like to see us jump over the sabine river for a scrimmage. And definately WOS And how about kicking the season off against Montgomery, then BH and then Silsbee or maybe even B.C. again.
I definitely like the idea of Montgomery but BC just isn't the type of team i would like to face. I'm thinking if we go down to 3A for a non-district then we should make it a powerhouse great team and Silsbee falls into that catagory. And which team over the sabine would you like to see?
Had some people from Sulphur sitting by me during homecoming and even though they liked the show, they talked smack on Texas H.S. Football. So, Sulphur. And the reason for B.C. is they insist they would have won had it not been raining. Whatever. But yeah, Silsbee would be the better game.
The same Sulphur that as a "5A Louisiana power" got blasted by Kelly a few years back?  No offense to Bulldog fans because that was a good Kelly squad, but those folks on the east side of the Sabine need to keep their noise to themselves.
Yep. But they didn't want to talk about that.

 8. Has anything been done about this(the fighting) or are they just hoping it will blow over? Because I don't think it will ever be forgotten. An example needs to be made somehow. One that will wake EVERYONE up.
 9.
Vidor/Ozen
This^^^. At 14-14, Mathews was goning to settle for O.T. with a long field and 53 seconds. The offense led by Quirante had different plans. And yes VP32, you would have probably picked this one if you saw it. This was a pivotal game for Vidor getting to the Playoffs.
 10. Wow. He is actually saying the refs decided who they were gonna let win.
 11.

I hate to bust your bubble, but he's not the first player that's had to face challenges such as these. I know of a few, so deal with it and get over it. As stated before, this post is old and anyway Hemphill didn't even make it to the playoffs so really. Enough of Twine. He wasn't enough to help his team accomplish anything!! Now Reginald Davis on the other hand is off the chain. Talk about people that are relevant. W.S. had a horrible weak defense and he did great, good.....did that help his team accomplish anything....NO!!! Enough already!!!
Reginald Davis is in a weeker division and has MUCH more talent on his team than Twine has. Reginald Davis had the same record as a Jr as Twine had this year as a sophmore. Twine accomplished District Offensive MVP and HM All-State. Not bad for a sophmore. He turned a 0-10 team into a 6-4 team as a sophmore. HH will make the playoffs next year and he will make 1st team all state. He is the most unstoppable player in the region 1A-5A and it is not close. He is just as good in Track and Baseball as well.
WOW! Thats a pretty bold statement.
 12. How many players(if any) are looking at getting their fourth ring.
 13. If you put any stock into the Massey ratings, it's LT-41                                                                       Midway-20
 14. I have relatives in the Waco area and they dont seem to have confidence in Midway when it comes to playing LT.
 15. As it relates to your post, I believe the youth leagues do play a part. It's not so much the coaching but who is doing the coaching. I've seen many kids put into positions that they were not suited for quite simply because that is where coach dad wanted them to play. When they get to the school levels things change and for some it's like starting over. We also loose potential good athletes for this very reason. They dont get to play where they should be playing, if at all, and begin to lose interest and end not playing school ball. Who knows how many D-1  potentials never suit up again after little league. JMO.
 16. Not gonna predict a score but Manvel will find a way to get it done.
 17. Let me guess. There was no flag for a block below the waist.  Will he be able to play again, thats a pretty serious break.
 18.
so is gray playing this week
Yes.
 19. Prayers from Vidor. God be with this family.
 20. Yall should come up with a trophy to be awarded to the winner of this RIVALRY. Something like and ardvark getting stomped by a BRONCO!
 21.
He woulda made the team at Barbie's Hill
LMAO! Maybe he could get them that 1st round win. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
 22.
2001 HJ team:  We started off 8-0 without having any really close games... In the 8th game of the season our RB (Quentin Riley), FB (Curtis Leday), and QB (Patrick McKeller) all got hurt.  We lost the next game in double or triple OT by 2 points, and the game after that to then 3A powerhouse Barber's Hill by 2 points on a PAT that they botched, recovered and ended up running in for a conversion.  We then went to the 1st round of the playoffs (still without Riley and Leday, and with a still-injured McKeller playing) and lost by about 3 TDs to Bridge City.  That team was stacked.  We had 3 or 4 all-state players on that team (how often can you say that for an HJ team?), our defense was stiff, our offense loaded, and our special teams was very good for a 3A school.  If everyone stays healthy, i think we had a reasonable shot at making a very deep playoff run, maybe even to state.
I wouldn't call that underachieving. Just a bad break to have so many key players injured that late in the season.JMO
 23.
I am curious as to who has who coming back and who yall lost... This is the list for Vidor 3 running backs 3 offensive lineman 1 tight end 2 linebackers 1 punter 1 kicker We have 9 returning on defense and 4 returning on offense and they didn't start but all the running backs who are leaving are being replaced by people who started atleast once in the season....
I thought the only defensive player we are losing is Austin Powell
