Which we have already beat 42 - 14  or Huff. or liberty. you will not get to the next round. I dont know who said anything about rolling. But Silsbee will win.
this is the same cleveland team that everybody in our district spanked last year.. so i'm not getting your point??
Before last year Cleveland was a consistently good team that was going about 3 rounds deep in playoffs.
you think they're back already? i'm thinking they need a class or two to come up before they'll be good again.
I wasn't sure, but they way they played against shepherd and Splendora I doubt they are back.

 4.
Cleveland did not beat WOS in the first round a couple of years ago, it was Coldspring who beat WOS. I was there for that game. As for that 2nd round opponent, I would not rule out the possibility of Sealy being the opponent and not Navasota. ;)
You're right my mistake who did Cleveland beat that year? bc? Sealy or navasota early way they are both consistently very good teams. I still think navasota will win tho.
 5.
WOS will steem roll everybody buy Silsbee. The Tiger will win district, crush their 22-3A rival Huffman, roll thru second round, and come on home in round 3.
Beating navasota in the 2nd round will be easier said than done.

But really can't really say on the SILSBEE vs HUFFMAN. I do know when the TIGERS started clicking, they were strong, I have not seen Huffman yet this year and yes Silsbee beat Cleveland in the second half. Like Silsbee we have alot of sophmores starting and going both ways, in key posistions. if they can pull it together and play 4 quartes, I think WOS would also have to play a really good game to win. Coldsprings, I'll go with that.
Go ahead and relax, let's remember this 4-1 Liberty team was getting all the hype until the slip up against Huffman, who handled them last year as well. Liberty is still a good team and shouldn't be thrown out of playoff talk. Liberty's secondary is absolutely terrible, they will match up better with a running team in Cleveland.
Hey I don't count anyone out, anything can happen on Friday Night. As far as all the hype, Liberty was getting all that they could produce. It's just hard to talk alot of hype after Huffman put it on them. As far as Clevland losing it's stars last year, i'll agree 50% we did lose a few good players, but was still 2-8 last year. my point is, this is not last year. if you think the Cleveland that you played last year is going to show up in a few weeks, your wrong. This is all my opinion, we will see in four weeks.
Good post! So glad we're done dealing with the arrogance of the Huffman fans, finally a normal debate. You are right, I agree Cleveland and Liberty are BOTH better than last year, but like UTep said, the Huffman game was closer than what the score indicated, Cleveland is better this year but so is Liberty and the fact that Liberty has bettered themselves in every match up compared to last year I've got to go ahead and say they will better themselves in this one as well. And as far as the topic of 22-3A compared to 21-3A, Huffman beat Silsbee last year and as much as I hate them you have to give them credit, Coldspring went to state, and Liberty was demolished, so last year 22-3A was stronger, in the previous years that featured CS and Cleveland going 2 and 3 rounds 22-3A was stronger, and this year, well the fact that 21-3As top 3 is basically set in stone and 22's has 4 teams competing, along with a power house coldspring team, and the fact that WOS seems to be not as good as last year at this point, well i say 22-3A is stronger once again.
Liberty fans thought they would blow out Huffman, and still think the game was close even tho Huffman was up 28-7 for much of the second half, but were the arrogant ones ::) yeah ok I know Huffman scored at last second kinda like silsbee did three years ago, but last year if I remember right Huffman would've never been in that situation until there was a bad snap that silsbee recovered and gave them great field position late in the fourth. Anyway the only thing that is pretty much locked is that coldspring will beat whoever they play. WOS seems to be down this year, but they have also played the toughest schedule so far. Cleveland beat them in the first a couple years ago I think they could do it again. Huffman vs silsbee outcome wouldn't suprise me either way, but it should be another good game.
 7.
Last years Huffman barely beat a 3rd place Tiger team.
It was closer than it should've been ;) score was 27-14 at the half then Huffman came out and had a bad 2nd half defensively, very similar to the navasota game which was 21-20 at half and the final was 43-26. I belive that this team could be better than last years with the way the D is playing. That was our weakness last year.

Let me repeat myself 413 maybe in simpler terms. Huffman over Silsbee Coldspring over Bridge City WOS OVER CLEVELAND.......without a question mark! Better?
Don't see Huffman beating Silsbee man. Silsbee is better that when Jeremy Johnson and Silsbee beat y'all twice.
I seriously doubt this silsbee team is better than when yall had jj. Wasn't that like the first time yall beat wos in district? Anyways those Huffman teams yall beat were 5 or 6 win teams that barley squeaked into the playoffs, this and last years teams are alot better.

It doesnt matter to me which one. Ill be happy with 1,2,or 3 and just as proud of 3 as I would 1. And I dont look for Huffman to be an issue in the 1st round . Huffman better worry about cleveland. And get to the playoffs cause you wont go any farther. ;)
CATS80 you are a gem my man! I wouldnt worry about Huffman either!
Im not  My Man! You will see!
Say what you will but Huffman and silsbee have had some good games the last three years. The first meeting yall won like 20-16 and I belive we were up late in the game until jj threw like a 45 yrd td pass. The next year jj pretty much dominated us and yall won like 50-35 or something like that. Then last year we won in a shoot out. And don't worry about us we will be in the playoffs waiting for you ;)
 11.
I hope no one but I think WOS or a possible 2nd round match vs Navaaota. This maybe a year Silsbee goes 3 or 4 rounds deep. Who knows!
You better not over look that first round match up with Huffman ;)

Mm is probably the most unique park in mlb and the atmosphere blows camden away. Even when Houston has a bad year people still go to the games, no one is at the games in bmore.
 13.
i talked trashed, plenty of it and i'm back to take my pounding.. other named got banned.. HAHA! anywayz. i have this to say, congrats to huffman they were the better team THAT night. simply put their coach took advantage of liberty's terrible secondary. no excuses. a win is a win. with that being said, townley is NOT better than fitz, and NONE of your WR's are better than jones.. that was townley's first good game, now if he's consistent he'll get my respect. but as for now the jury's still out. despite having no protection and liberty playing a TERRIBLE game fitz completed 75% of his passes for nearly 300 yds and 2 td's to 1 int. decent. jones had 10 rec. for 179.. an 47 rushing. he showed he's good. Preston Townley  83 151 54.97 1,028 13 7 Daniel Fitzwater 61 90 67.78 1,003 9 2 townley stats were 58  116                      685        8    6 before playing liberty.. he just had an EXCELLENT night IMO. props where props are due tho, huffman was the better team that night.
What's up dodiej, fight anyone in the parking lot after the game?  ;D As far as the whos better fitz vs Townley thing goes you have to remember this was Townley's first year in a passing offence, most of us knew the O would stuggle early. I think we can all agree this is not the same offence that struggled to move the ball against KP and almost lost to Kashmere. They finally got it going against HF and it carried over to Liberty where the had thier best game so far. And I would be willing to bet that  from this point on Townley will have better stats in district (the only place that matters) than fitz will. As far as Jones vs Hardy I will take 6 catches for 123 and 4 tds over 200+ combined yards 1 td and 1 dropped td pass every time. Although I belive Jones is a bit better Hardy just had a better game. Overall Huffman is the better team. Thier Defense was excellent and for 3 and a half quarters held Liberty to 7 points. Idk what happened in the last part of the 4th maybe they were already celebrating thier win. On Offence Huffman just has more weapons Jones carried the liberty O he accounted for more than half of thier total yardage. Huffman made sure you weren't able to key on one person.

 15.
OMG, Liberty & Huffman fans, give it a rest. Your game is over for the year. If your teams are as good as you proport, they need to take care of business for the rest of the year & represent 22 3A well in the playoffs. Or start your own thread to keep arguing so those interested in the games of the week don't have to abide your vitriol.
We have our own thread, but when liberty fans want to spread lies about Huffman then I am going to respond wherever they post them.
 16.

Everyone in the district knows Coldsprings is good....and hopefully will win state this year. Think it's sad that they feel the need to run down all the other teams in the 22-3A district like the kids don't work hard and play hard. It's very easy to be so critical of others when you are on the top but everyone knows that eventually everyone falls. Think they are a great team and would like them and thier supporters to make the 22-3 A district proud by being leaders and remembering that it's never fun to work your butt off and lose. Good luck to Coldspring Friday night and all those that follow.
CS isn't near as bad as Huffman about talking down on the other teams of the district. Let's hope CS puts the same beating on Huffman as they do everyone else. And I don't believe they will win state.
You should really go back and read some of the post by your Liberty friends before you come on here and talk about Huffman. Liberty by far has the worst posters of any in the district. That is why multiple liberty fans have been banned from this site for telling people to kill themselves or challenging other posters to fights.
 17. The only reason Huffman fans have responded this way after the win is because of the trash talk and arrogance the liberty fans showed prior to the game. For the record Swag is a liberty fan.
 18.
Not to take anything away from huffman's big win....but it seems that there is a program wide epidemic of arrogance....my kids went to liberty and I still follow the team casually, I can't remember seeing a game with so much trash talk, taunting and outright dirty play...and I saw the same kind of behavior at the volleyball game!..why not be a little more like cold spring and put a whooping on people with some class?....tell the other team good job and move on...what exactly are they so cocky about anyway?...playing in 3a with 4a numbers and 5a facilities, I should think that you would win your share...so by all means Huffman fans enjoy your wins, then take your whooping by cold spring and your first round exit by silsbee....at least until you move back up a classification and become a perennial doormat once again...HUFF-MAN, HUFF-MAN,HUFF-MAN!!!!!!!.....please
Don't get your hopes up at last count Huffman was still over 70 kids below the cutoff for 4a. Oh and all you have to do is look at the way Liberty fans post on here to see where the arrogance is. I love how anytime Huffman wins someone always brings up our enrollment and now our facilities lol. News flash UIL put Huffman in this district so if you wanna cry about it go cry to them.

Colspring will beat Liberty and Huffman 56-0 and Huffman won't hang with Silsbee and Liberty won't hang with WOS.
Crack kills bro! I love your negativity and ignorance about Huffman football. You obviously were not at the game and viewed this butt kicking. Please do yourself and Liberty fans a favor and quit talking about Huffman football. Fitz is a good QB but he is NOT townly. Look at the game stats! We are looking forward to the meeting with Coldspring but not looking passed Tarkington. Hope your home team even makes the playoffs!
You're right, Fitzwater isn't Townley, he doesn't have near as many interceptions. I saw the game, Huffman was better that night, Fitzwater is still better. What colleges want Townley? I'll bet anything Fitz goes D1. Let's remember he just turned 16 recently.
Townley and Fitz are the same age so idk what you argument is there. And fitz dosent have as many tds, passing yards, or district wins as Townley does. Huffman was not just better that night they are overall a better team and would beat them everytime just accept it.
 20.
1 interception, 2 fumbles, dropped pass in the endzone, 45 yd run on 3rd and long called back for holding on the backside of the play.
All of those are part of the game. Huffman had way more penalty yards than Liberty and still had over 400 yards total offence and Hung 40 on yall. Don't be bitter just admit that Huffman is way better than Liberty. We may not be able to hang with coldspring, but I like our chances with silsbee. We have had three good games with them the last three years. But we really shouldn't pug to much stock in your predictions, because you picked hf and liberty over Huffman and we both know how that turned out. Liberty will be lucky to beat Cleveland to get in lol. BTW Huffman had 1 pic as well and over 100 yards in penalties, liberty only lost one fumble not 2.
 21.
nothing i hate more than a queer falcon
Nothing worse than bitter panther who is just mad because he knows Huffman was the more talented team and that they were lucky they only lost by 20. Go back in your hole and wait for next years beat down. BTW great come back. I guess it is just natural for Liberty fans to resort to petty ridicule when they are proven wrong.
 22.
falconfanatic you are pitiful calling out liberty fans after both teams gave it their all and liberty did not play to their potential and got out coached, go start a 10 page thread saying the same thing over and over again with dodiej on next years game  :) seems to occupy you pretty well
Did you even read the first post of this thread where I said Liberty play hard and should hold thier heads high, or that this post was only directed at a few Liberty fans. Liberty fans such as dreski and dodiej started the tash talking and I responsed. Is it wrong for me to ask that after all their talk they should acknowledge that they were wrong and that Huffman was the BETTER team. BTW this is the only thread I started regarding Huffman and Liberty, all of the other ones where started by Liberty fans. so why don't you get your facts straight before you come post garbage on here.
