It would be nice to see Huffman move the ball tonight against HF. COMEON DISTRICT. Looking forward to Liberty!
If Smith is on HF could give Huffman some problems. Completions          Attempts        Percentage      Yards          TDs        INTs 34                            69                  49.28                  502              5            2 He leads 21-3A in passing and if Huffman covers like they did against K Park, I could see HF putting up some points. HF-35 Huffman-31
Yeah you clearly know what you are talking about ::) Huffman 41- HF 10 Smith 7-23 99 yards 1 td 2 pics.
Technically, the stats were correct so it wasn't a matter of him not knowing what he was talking about. Maybe Huffman covered better than they did against K Park, because in that case this would be an accurate statement. Congrats to Huffman on the win, Liberty vs Huffman is going to be a great game next week.
Stats might of been correct, but the prediction was way off.
Now that is a better response. Yes, Huffman's offense when rolling can be dangerous, but the fact that you are letting out a sigh of relief at the fact that Townley only threw 1 interception is not a good sign. Liberty's Daniel Fitzwater has only thrown 1 interception all year. And it came with 3 seconds left in the 2nd quarter on a bomb ( and from where I was sitting the defender looked out of bounds so it should not have counted) and that game turned out to be a 42-7 victory for the Panthers. The Huffman defense isn't a joke, you are right about that, K Park only started to pull away when they began to air it out, good thing the Panthers have a Quarterback who can do just that. This should be a very good game Friday night.
Please show me where I said anything about letting out a sigh of relief about only having 1 pic, because im pretty sure I never said anything like that. Everyone knew going into the season the Huffman O would be inexperienced, and would struggle early. I haven't really been that worried about it yet, because I knew the longer they played and the more Townley got used to the players and this offence things would get better. Besides why should I be worried when so far we have beaten the teams we should of and lost to the team we should of lost to.
You didn't, the way that Bambam33 said he ONLY threw 1 pick, makes it seem like he said that with a sigh of relief. And I can remember you saying that exact thing at the beginning of the season, but to most of the other Huffman fans, you were all saying Townley was a DOG and he was going to come in and do some major work, and that Gray was going to set it off as well, but look at Fitz and Antoine against the bad teams they put up crazy numbers like they should of, Gray and Townley barely even put up descent numbers against terrible teams.
If only putting up big stats actually counted for something in the record book. Huffman got the Ws that is all that matters. Stats don't mean crap. Besides didn't I just get done saying people knew the offence was gonna struggle early in the season? Try to pay attention I don't like to repeat my self.

Both defensives are gonna have to play at there greatest ability. Huffman is a good team but liberty has proved themselves this year. Going into to district play 4-0, just hope they don't get the bigheads, and they should definently not take Huffman lightly. I'm going with liberty by 2 tds.
DONT TAKE HUFFMAN LIGHTLY?????????????? LIBERTY better strap on their freaking chin straps. Liberty has proven themselves at 4-0 going into district but have not faced the speed and intensity of a Huffman. FYI Huffman is 3-1 and got handled by K park (VERY GOOD 4A TEAM) TWO TD'S???????????? I respect your prediction but aint no way Liberty wins by two TD's. They are going to be lucky to score twice!
That was a good post by Raycharles1289, not too confident about either team and gave both teams credit. But being from Huffman you completely disagree with anyone giving ANY credit to Liberty because that is exactly what has been happening all season. I think that's fine because it looks to me like the players are understanding that winning 4 games isn't winning a district championship and they have to keep winning and keep proving everyone wrong week after week. If Liberty beats Huffman on Friday I still don't think they need a pat on the back because Huffman isn't a district championship team either, so to the Liberty fans and players don't get mad that you aren't receiving any credit just keep winning games and getting bettering yourselves and you will soon feel a sense of achievement.
Credit for what? Beating 3 teams you should've and then a team missing 3 starters including the QB. I thought both teams would probably be (3-1) at this point with liberty possibly being (4-0). I will give credit to liberty for coming back in the Kelly game, but other than that they have done what is expected no suprises so far. You dont see Huffman fans on here begging for pat on the back after doing what they were supposed to do. I will give credit when I feel someone has earned it so far they haven't and Niether has Huffman or coldspring.
Lol, would you please re read my post? I said EVEN IF THEY BEAT HUFFMAN THEY DON'T NEED A PAT ON THE BACK. That means that I don't think they need a pat on the back now. So no one is begging for anything. And Crockett is ranked 7 in the state of Texas in 2A,  with 393 students to Coldspring's 503, so not a big difference in size, and Coldspring beat them 60-20. Coldspring had definitely proved something with that win. Crockett has a player, Dominique Wheeler 6ft2 180 runs a 4.4 committed to Texas Tech he would start wherever he wanted to at Huffman. So for you to think that Coldspring doesn't deserve any credit for their pre season wins then you have no idea what you are talking about. Oh and Liberty had the harder non district schedule, Porter and Kelly are better than every team Huffman played besides K Park.
Please you have been begging for credit the whole time. Hey was coldspring favored to win the crockett game? Yeah they were. They did what was expected. That dosent mean the team they played was bad or didnt have good players.  What exactly did coldspring prove that they were as good as everybody already knew they were? Did I say Huffman had a tougher schedule than liberty no I dont think I did. All I said is that the teams have done what was expected so far. Btw I will rank the teams liberty and Huffman have played KP Kelly Porter/Kashmere Hf Hj Huntinton Hardin

Typical, that someone who has no idea what he is talking about to get on here with no reasoning what so ever. That being said Kelly still has to improve on the offensive side of the ball and cut down on turnovers. Kelly played extremely well on Defense against Bridge City and look for that to continue. Liberty's QB really played well last year even though their was a great number of drops from his receivers. This should be a great game.
If you consider giving up 21 points well then your crazy being that Liberty has given up 7 all year, yes they have had a weak schedule but Porter is a 4A team with a new QB who is commited to a D1 school so they can't be too bad. And who cares about what the secondary did last year? Huntington, and Hardin threw all over them last year and scored a combined 110 points, but this year a combined 0, the defense has improved greatly, the seniors who left the secondary won't be missed.
Just wondering where you found that porter's QB is committed to Illinois, because he is only a SO. and I haven't found anything online about him.
actually haven't even seen it anywhere myself but heard from a reliable source, they have 2 QBs the one who started against liberty wasn't the one who played the previous games because he was hurt I think he is a senior but I really don't know for certain, he wasn't great obviously (7 points) but I guess you could see how he could be commited to illinios
Well the chronicle and maxpreps only have one QB playing for Porter in either game and that is Colton Clark a 5'10 SO. I just have a hard time believing he has already committed to Illinois.

It was the 70's. LOL!!!!!! Also by us having jobs during the summer it taught us the value of a dollar and responsibility along with hard work. I would venture to say that if more kids would have a job at a young age. This world would be in better shape instead of being spoiled and lazy. You don't see many kids from the 70's or 80's still mooching off their parents or their parents raising their kids. I would say yes we need a time machine to bring back morals and respectablity to this country.
::) Yes lets all go back to the 60s and 70s when we had "morals". When we had a president killed, draft dodgers galore, "peace" activist who blew up things, hippies running wild, watergate, a gas shortage, a president who couldn't save some hostages in iran, and smasmouth football. ahh the good old days.
::) Well first off I graduated in 1980 and today is any better? 14 million out of work, Half the population does not pay taxes, More people on welfare than ever, Young people don't get married so the government can pay for the baby to be born plus food stamps, diapers, formula, cheese, should I go on. Atleast some of us were reponsible for our own actions.  Yes, they was the good ole days when kids played outside, neighborhood football, basketball and baseball games. We was not in the AC playing X-Box eating twinkie's or ding dongs while drinking a coke or should I say entergy drink.
Im not saying one is better than the other, I'm saying every generation has its problems. When you were growing up the older generation talked about how lazy you were and how you had no morals or direction too. Not everybody today is lazy and irresponsible, but if you have a problem with this generation maybe you should blame your generation for not raising them the right way. BTW LT spread offence 4 consecutive state championships(who else has done that recently?), slc 3 straight state championships, Oregon spread offence and almost lead the country in rushing, Nevada runs the pistol(similar to the spread) and leads the country in rushing almost every year. You keep saying you have to be balenced, but you can be alot more balenced in the spread than in the wing t or slot t. Spread isn't a gimick the only reason you don't see it that often in the nfl is because the hash marks are not as wide as they are in college or high school.
Baytown lee and sterling ran spread last year and you talk about boring! Try H.I.S.D. schools run the spread...boring. a center who can't snap the ball 5yds. A QB that can't pass the ball 5 yds down the field and WR that couldn't run a route with a Garmin attached to their visors. Its quite the entertaining chinese fire drill they have out there.  But hey, lose games how ever you choose.
Like they said before the spread isnt for everyone, but if you have the athletes and personal to run it then why not?

Atleast we play someone worth a crap.
We'll see what happens this year.  I'm not a fortune teller, but I think it's safe to say....  This year, it will be a different story.  Just a hunch....  ;)
Oh I expect the same thing. I think most everyone knows that was a fluke.

Kelly however will be a test for liberty. Gonna be intersting to see how the do.
Yeah, I remembered fanatic saying that Porter wasn't going to be a test, but as for basically everyone else you all said Porter would be, then they got destroyed and now it's because they suck, not to make Liberty seem great for beating them just saying you all said they were descent and now they're not. Oh well, I saw Kelly scrimmage Hardin, and unless they have improved MAJORLY,  Liberty should take this one as well if they can work hard and get better this week.
Yeah so can some of the liberty fans tell me why at halftime yhe score was 7-0 and then they exploded in the second half
