LCM Boys Basketball Alumni Game Saturday, November 14, former Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School boys basketball players are invited to attend an alumni basketball event. Beginning at 6:00pm, the 2009-10 LCM Varsity Boys Basketball team will play LCM Boys Basketball alumni in a game. Following that game, the alumni will divide up into two teams and play each other. Former players are welcome to come play, visit, or participate in both events. Former LCM player Chad Cooper will referee the game. Former coaches are also invited to attend. LCM Head Boys Basketball Coach Darin Harley wants this to be a time of renewing friendships, friendly competition, and for gaining support of the current basketball program at LCM. The public is invited to attend and there will be plenty of action on the sidelines of the court. The current LCM cheerleaders, Honey Bear Drill Team, and LCM choral students will be there to entertain the fans. Admission to the games is $5 for adults and $3 for students. Alumni players will be able to purchase an alumni game t-shirt for $10. A concession stand will be available for game-time snacks. I've just received news that Warren "Moose" Jones has passed away. It happened at the Y during a pickup game and "Moose" just passed out and never woke up. "Moose" was a local guy from PA, a good official, and a good man. RIP Warren "Moose" Jones
