  11. Credeur said this morning that scrimmage has been moved to Dayton. No reason given.
  12. Last year was a "ripoff" of Madden football game, year before that a "ripoff" of a Wheaties box....Point? Never saw the VIBE magazine but of course we went with Scarface, the movie poster....At least you recognized it. We try to do catchy covers that will attract. It's a free publication.
  13. LOL...someone brought that to my attention a few years ago...We put Joe Chaisson on two years ago when he was a senior and he got hurt a missed a few games!!! But Frog had a good year except Central struggled.

  16. Thanks fellas... Still in football mode. Nearly finished with The Examiner HS Football Guide then once school starts, I'll be in basketball mode.
  17. I remember several years ago a Jasper group under Danny Lauve go to Mid County and get crushed in a scrimmage...End result? They lost to Burnet in the 3A state championship. Scrimmages=controlled practices.
  18. Krautz and Wareall Grogan will run the ball for Ned this season. Kelly RB is Ozen transfer Lorenza Patterson, who was 2nd team all-district in 20-4A last year. Also, please take this 1st scrimmage result with a grain of salt. Yes, it's a good indication of progress over a 2 week practice period and against live competition other than yourself, but not much more.
  19. Fox 29, KVHP in Lake Charles will carry SLC TV. Let's hope it's sister station in Beaumont, KUIL Fox 64 follows suit.
