Porter will have a good group...white oak middle school is the feeder for Porter HS and right now, thats where the athletes are in new caney. Keefers crosing feed New Caney HS & they are going to struggle....until the cycle changes...it all goes in cycles.

Shepherd graduated a bunch last year, too young to make any noise this year. Woodville takes it.

Got a buddy that coaches there & he tells me that the new school opening hurt them ( talent wise ) and they have very little talent coming up. All the speed they're used to is apparently gone.

when I spoke with coach Roberts this fall, he said that was going to be the plan. Both high schools would be 4-A. Keefer crossing would feed New Caney & White Oak would feed Porter.

Kingwood has been competitive with humble hs. They beat them this year 17-7 & lost by 3 the year before. I think McDougald does a good job with what he's got to work with. They're not world beaters, but he has got them competing, maybe that was the point trying to be made, just guessing.

I understand what youre saying, but traditionally, whoever wins district gets coach of the year. Not saying its right, but USUALLY thats how it goes.
