What is everyone basing their idea of "best" on? field goals made? consecutive pat's? kickoff's? just like to know what the "best" is...

Having watched both i think it'll be a tight ballgame. IMO, Huntsville's Defensive line is the strength of their defense.. From what I've seen they're physical up front and fly to the ball. Offensively, Humble has the edge, kicking game i think is equal, both have good kickers..Huntsville will pooch it more than humble will. I just believe it'll be a close game. Being played at turner stadium sure won't hurt any.

I disagree with you about UNT talking about dropping their program. They'll open a new stadium next season...I doubt they'll drop football any time soon.

The thing I find interesting is...does anybody REALLY know where the fault lies? is it with the board members? is it with the Supt.?? the Principal?? The one thing that we DO know...the kids are paying for it. We as educators are SUPPOSED to have the kids interests at heart, but in Cleveland..Not so fast my friend!!

Shepherd has a very young team, but has been finding ways to play people tough this year. Huffman wins it, but maybe not by as much as some will think they should.

I am a High School Coach & I don't buy the no pass no play angle. Unless you have a wrestling program at your school, IMO, football is the most physically demanding sport you have and it is getting harder & harder to find LARGE numbers of kids that want to go through that. Yes, you may lose a few to the select teams, but I really believe that kids would rather play sports that are less physically demanding...not to mention that we are seeing less & less parent involvement these days, so they PROBABLY aren't being encouraged to participate. Just my two cents.

I agree with you Playa, game will be quick with those two offenses, but I think Cleveland may put another win up...Splendora losing to St.Thomas really blows me away....I understand St.Thomas scoring, Coach Hollas has the O rolling, but NOT to be able to score on St.Thomas' defense???? not a good sign of things to come.

Dude, it's JV football...the only ones who care are the JV players, their mom's & dad's....that's it. Nobody EVER got fired because the freshmen or JV went ofer.
