And Just before you try and say that there is no comparison between these two Bolinger had about as much yards as carson did coming into that game and quirante had about as much as shaw did as well. Kennedy was the president then it is hard for some people to think otherwise. There are many storied programs around SE Texas but Vidor's usual story is a perennial loser or another hard luck year. Maybe last year was not a fluke and maybe they will go deep yet again. When looking historically, it is hard to overcome the past as far as the Pirates go until the can show some consistency. A playoff win once every 50 years doesn't exactly engender confidence. [/quote] But in my defense they shouldn't base ranking off of the history of a team. They should base rankings off of who you have coming back from last year and how good you were last year. And base on how many starters we have coming back and how good we did last year some would say we deserve a ranking but i really don't care lol.
