This was what was going on frequently during the game by Ozen players. La marque DID not retaliate here as you can see, but its only so much a young teenage will take before he defends himself and his teammates. So dont give me that crap about La marque is classless and Ozen is. smh I'm just glad the kids dont see some of the things you people say, you dont be ashamed of yourselves the way your acting towards these kids.
idk what you saw but what i saw was the LA MARQUE player jacking his jaw and saying god knows what and ozen retaliating.
 2. Bolinger overcame a broken foot a couple of weeks ago and ran for 121 yards, his best game since his injury, while wearing the jersey of his best friend/brother/fallen teammate Matt Thomas. Can you really argue with that?
 3.
Well your year was completely different from the ones I had under Coach Mathews as a player and what I have seen for the years that I've spent hanging around him. There will always be those who are the coaches "favorites", which I guess is what you are trying to imply, but I have never seen any unfair treatment when it came to breaking the rules. I can say this because I was considered one of his "favorites"  and on two, there are many more, I had punishment for breaking the rules. The first was being late to practice, I had an extreme ankle injury my junior year that required me to get a lengthy and complicated tape job. I was late to practice and had to roll for it like everyone did/would have if they were late to practice. The other time was for explicit language, scout D was not performing well and in turn I got yelled at (I was an O-lineman), I used some words I shouldn't have and enden having 200 yards of air raids after that practice. Believe me the punishments were fair and just to each and every player. Need I say more?
And that's coming from a lineman.
 4.
I love it when the lineman emptied his pistol into Martel's expensive sportscar, LOL!  ;D
Lmao same here. The scene i love best is the bar fight. "Hey dude remember how i told you to not touch red? Well ignore what i said." lmao that was the best line ever!
 5. Watch out dawson. There defense may not look good on numbers but they have a way to force you to make mistakes and they will capitalize on those mistakes. And don't focus on there jackson too much because they have another one just as good as him IMO running the ball as well in number 15.

 7. if this doesn't give it away then i'll tell you. I just wanna see if you can guess it. sports talk guy 1: I love to see a fat guy score. sports talk guy 2: Why? sports talk guy 1: Because first you get a fat guy spike, then you get the fat guy dance.

Its my all time FB favorite.  :D
Yeah i know lol. About half the people that i've met that are as crazy about football as i am haven't seen that movie and i'm like WHAT!!!! :o
I wish I could find that movie to play tonight.  It would be a good one.
Yeah i wish they would sell it in the stores but i don't think they do.
Summary of your statement: "I sucked it up in football and coach yelled at me so i'm gonna sit here and cry about it." Dude your pathetic.
You're not reading vp32.  I was a two year letterman and on year starter.  The year I started (senior year) I played every play of every game EXCEPT for homecoming against LC-M because I had bronchitis.  I also said nothing about having an issue with Coach yelling at me.  I said certain players had privileges and could get away with dipping and cursing in the locker room without ANY of the coaches batting an eye, yet if a player (that wasn't part of those 5 or 6 with special privileges) was caught cursing or dipping, they were immediately escorted in to the coaches office and given swats with a paddle by one of the coaches.  That is what caused a division in the locker room.  These 5 or 6 players let those privileges go to their head and the coaches (including Mathews) were just throwing gasoline on the fire with the whole situation.  We weren't a "team".  Please read these posts thoroughly and quit posting idiotic comments, that in turn, causes me to have to reiterate FACTS that were stated previously.
Dude your crying about "certain players" getting special privileges. You sound like a freaking band member complaining to the principle about a football player getting away with something that they got busted for. Your whining worse than my 4 year old daughter. If your arguing that Coach Jeff Mathews isn't a good Coach and your basing your arguments on this then you are not worth arguing with.
Son, I've known this man since '94 when he was an assistant coach. You couldn't be more wrong. He took the time to answer my emails about this year's team while me and two others were working in Thailand. I know several kids who have played for Jeff and have NEVER heard the first bad thing about him. BTW, since you know so much about him and Pirate football you would know we went to the playoffs in 2000, not 2001. Or, are you another one of those from Lumberton stirring up trouble again? I see your a new person on the boards....
Ding ding ding we have a winner. A bunch of gang members and thugs. My brother teaches their and he can verify everything I tel you. Their drop out rate is like a Black Friday sale! Most kids come to school when they want to and they are well below all their test scores. Half of the football team is over 18 and their grade point average is pushed to a curve to make them all able to play. Come on son!
Nuff said. Right there. La Marque needs to be disqualified from the playoffs.
Why should LM be disqualified. You don't know $hit about LM like half of the people on this site. The reason most of them dislike LM is because of the success that they have had.Haters only dislike winners. If LM was a losing program no one would care. You just don't win State Champinships with a bunch of thrugs. The schools on this site are saints but can't win the big one.Thats your opinion and this is mind.
Your right i don't know much about LM. All i know is that they have a bad rep as a football team to be dirty. I don't hate LM i actually like them because they are a small school in 4A who has a great football team but it doesn't matter what i think of there team or whatever. They broke the rules last night and they should be punished. Period.
 22.
Williamson....the starting point guard, and a real warrior out there. You might want to get to know those guys who do this all year long.  We dont have any height, or experience, but we do have some guys that will battle with anybody.  And that's before you add a couple of football guys.  Montana is a real difference maker, but dont anoint this team because he is now playing.  It takes time for this team to come together and dont forget that we have 3 sophomores who will see quite a bit of playing time.  Very young team that hasnt gelled just yet.  Again, Larry Sterling is a great coach who WILL build a program that can compete with anybody, but there will be some growing pains this year.  Keep supporting the team.  They need people in the stands cheering for them just like the football team, believe me.
Well i apologize then. I guess i haven't don't much research on our basketball team to know that we have another Williamson there. Yes he is a cousin but hey there all the same lol. And trust me i will be there in the thick of it. I've been there since the days of Jake McWilliams and George Williamson.
 23.
I talked to a local school district police chief.  He said that school district policy states that the only way event officers would get involved in a "on field" fight, before, during or after a game, between uniformed players is if the coach, administrator, superintendent or any other school official ordered the police officers to intervene.  He said that it is the responsibility of the coaches to control or intervene in any incidents involving players.
Weather yall want to agree with BWOOD or not he has stated the rules. Yes they may not be morally right in your eyes and everyone may not agree with them but they are the rules regardless. The question is did the Cops wait for the permission. If they did not then they need to be dealt with. Plain and simple. And to all of yall that are gonna say if the cops hadn't gotten involved and someone would've gotten hurt then everyone would be saying something different, We don't know that because it didn't happen.
