1. I know what most of you think about the all state teams but he did make all state on the defensive side of the ball. And before his junior season defense was all he played. It was defense that got him playing varsity his freshman year. Just sayin'  8)
 2.
i can name 3 linebackers imo are better than montana those 2 from wos take your pick and that #33 from neederland . as far as the offensive side of the ball , im sorry in the last 2 years which offensive player  has meant more to his team and have put up over 2300 yrds 41 total tds (35 rushing ) than mr roberts from east chambers ? i didnt even bring up last years stats , why isnt this kid not getting offers ? havent we learned anything from maurice drew jones and  darrin sproles ?
Roberts is good but he doesn't get near Montana. Montana had 2144 yards and 35 TD's this season and that was with playing both sides of the ball and leading the team in tackles as well. And that's playing both sides of the ball in 4A. Something you rarely see and even more rarely see those numbers while doing so. Just imagine what Montana would have done if he was just running the ball. Everyone who has seen both players says Montana is the better player. And to answer the question about Lamar is because Montana has chosen to follow his beliefs and go on a mission for his church. Afterwards he will attend BYU.

You people amaze me! You have No idea how college football works! smh
I played college ball. But since you say JT is older then Brown I'll go this route compare Browns film to Deionte Thompson the sophomore safety from WOS this year. And I can promise you his film is better then Tonys. WOS just got a transfer from Ozen and the question was asked could Tony Brown play for WOS his response was "not in the secondary, probably rover or linebacker"
Who we gonna believe? Some kid who transfered into wos? or a guy who's dang career is to rank high school football players?
 4. Well if much can't be taken from the videos then all we have to look at is the offers. Who's getting more offers? Who's gettin more attention. Seems like tony is. That right there talks for itself.
 5.

WOS lost to a team that dominated 3A the point of bringing up the 6 turnovers is to say this. Navasota beat WOS 38-7 even tho we had all those turnovers.  Nobody else they played had more then 2 turnovers.  And they all still got blown out. And if Navasota did that to WOS then is it safe to assume the rest of the Golden Triangle didn't have a chance.? And also Tony has plenty of athletes at ozen.  Also yes WOS has and elite secondary an that helps kids making ints sometime. But some of you guys need to watch the wos kids film a lot of their picks are while they are man to man coverage. Here's SMU commit Jmarcus Rhodes of WOS 6'2 185 cornerback film compare his to Tony you will see Rhodes is a physical ball hawk that plays with passion. [Hidden Content]
The dbs from La Marque actually looked better on the film I watched, at least they could stay close to the receivers and they're rated about the same. I only saw Brown in person once but I was kind of taken back by how well he moved with that kind of length. When you lost by 31 to the best team on your schedule you can't throw in Bridge City stats to make up for it. Rhodes' numbers may look better but Brown did his work on PA Memorial, Vidor, Nederland, 3A-D1 champ Stephenville, and did the best job I've seen on potential Big 12 rival Realon Singleton who goes about 6'4" and nearly 200 lbs, the same kid who the next week looked like Randy Moss against state semi-finalist Manor's dbs. Brown is rated a lot higher than even Earl Thomas who cam out of Stark so unless you think the current WOS dbs are better than Thomas you shouldn't even make an argument 'cause the people that do it for a living think Brown should be better than them all.
Well said. We finally agree on something cougar lol.
 6. Dang. Tough to call a winner for this one. A lot of good basketball teams here. Will definitely be some dang good games.

 12.
last year vidor played keep away ball basically all of the first qtr. first qtr. score for that game if i remember correctly was 8 to 6 second qtr. they did the same.By the 4th qtr. the lady pirates was worn down from running around passing to themselves. This year they are awesome with there game.
Yes you are correct. But vidor was playing the game. Looking for a shot. Ozen was passing to end the game and that, IMO, is a terrible way to end the game.
 13.
that was vidor ball for two minutes.had it been them with a slim lead same thing. They got beat at there on game.
If if if....... You don't know that and neither do I cuz vidor didn't have the ball.
 14. IMO that's just a lousy way to win. I mean play the game man. Don't play keep away for two minutes.
 15.
if you were at the game you would understand why ozen pass the ball around in the end.It should be a very very interesting game next time around, seems it will hold district champ implecations/Oops got to get pass other teams(central etc.) first.
Smh.....
 16. Don't remember the score by Ozen won by 5. May I add the only reason they won was cuz they literally passed the ball around for two straight minutes. I will say this vidor will beat Ozen the next time and we will beat central.
 17. After tonight I am totally behind the movement of high school games adopting the shot clock. Wow!!!!! >:(
