Yes Nederland did present a problem with us but 2 of there td drives were because we made mistakes( aka penalties) and they capitalized on it. No excuses here. Ned won the game fair and square but our mistakes did help them.

That kid covers up a lot of y'alls weaknesses with his ability to keep the offense on the field 3 or 4 yards at a time. After he graduates it's a lot more likely Vidor goes back to struggling to make the playoffs vs competing for district championships. Based on this year's stats so far Crosby has the best set of returning skill players in the district and I won't even make predictions like that. Coogs are going to return over 4,000 yards of offense and 8 of 11 starters, but I guess when you play in a district where 2-5 Central is still in it that's not that far of a reach. I just don't see Ned replacing that line and that secondary. Yeah I have no doubt they will be good but I don't see them being dc good. That's a lot of experience and size to replace in that defense. Not to mention there starting qb.

I see the next two or three years dc being decided between the vidor and png games with Ned, central, and ozen in the mix as well.

Vidor freshman and 8th grade definitely have some talent. 3 coaches have kids on those two teams and not to mention Montana Quirante's little brothers and cousins. The future definitely looks bright in vidor.  8)
