  1. I would have to say that Copeland should win the MVP award. In 242A its gotta be Tremain Thomas.
  2. Averaging 20+ wins a year isn't to bad. He could do better. LOL.
  3. Just think, the Freshman Adam Davis is Tramain's first cousin. Plus Tramain has a little brother Trevor that is Tramain at the exact same age, but it will be quite a few years before he is terrorizing the district.
  4. I would say BS by 10.
  5. Big Sandy 18...20...22...16 76 High Island 1...15...6...10 32 BS McKinney 22 Tolar 17 Roberds 11 HI Landrum 18 Kahla 5 George 4
  6. EC Kountze Anahuac
  7. He better have a better reason for moving, because that right there says he is moving for athletic purposes.
  8. Thanks KHS, but I already knew that. I was just stating the playoff seeding.
  9. Thanks for the reminder Coop because some people seem to forget.
  10. Highsky EC did win the district title last year. They won the playoff game at the Montagne.
  11. I too graduated from EC, and heard the exact same things Icky. The people doing all of the gum flapping are the exact reason why my parents and many others quit attending sporting events at EC. The problem with the people in Winnie, is that they are spoiled. LHS had it right. The competition has gotten alot better. Trust me there is no one on the face of the planet that wants EC to win or tries harder to get the kids to win than Hank. No one seemed to mind when Hank was leading them to the win over HJ.
  12. West Hardin 64 High Island 41
  13. High Island 17 11 16 11 Sabine Pass 24 16 9 22 High Island Tiner George 25, Max Reho 10, T.J. Kahla 4, Steve Landrum 7, Colt Hughes 7 Sabine: Clark 25, Wasson 12, Almond 11, Carlos 12
  14. EC missed the playoffs in either 2000 or 2001. I'm not sure exactly.
  15. Not you highsky. The post I was responding to has been removed. It was directed at ECBucFan.
  16. If you really want to get into this, I will take you up on your offer. CC may have finished 3rd in that district but they were by far the second best team in that district. Against Hemphill, who finished 2nd, they fumbled the ball about 5 times. Twice going in for td's. Plus they played newton to a 5 or 6 pt. game, while Newton blew everyone else out. The team that EC lost to definitely was not a bad team. Don't say that those kids weren't prepared, because I know that coaching staff and they were more than prepared for that game.
  17. Deweyville will challenge next year in football. They have a solid nucleus returning, especially the running back dept. EC fans do have respect for Deweyville. Heck we are the only two left from the old districts.
  18. Tremain definitely should have been on the 1st team in the secondary. None of those kids had nowhere near the numbers he did. 11 ints. is enough by itself. This is a travesty. He'll get the last laugh though when he is playing D1 football, and the rest of them aren't.
  19. This tourney is the 27th -29th.
  20. 16 point ballgame at the half. High Island imploded during the 2nd half.
  21. High Island played a good game. Just to many missed layups and poor decision making led to a lopsided score. I would venture to say that we missed 8 or 9 easy layups. This game was much closer than the score appears. HI was down by 1 at halftime and took the lead in the third. We are just not very deep.
  22. Its a Jr. High game. Let it go. One team won and the other lost. It happens.
