1. Nations did not start off at $105,00 or even close to that.
2. Nederland Superintendent pulled the plug on NRG, saying it would cost their district too much for transportation. So the Broncos and Bulldogs will be in the house of the Dog on Friday night.
3. No one has been hired yet by Dayton ISD. Interviews begin today.
4. Everyone back off of the edge.  This is a hard week to play a team that is not very good.  After a very emotional win against a rival, CE king proved to be dangerous.  Dayton is very young and it is hard to get those kiddos to play at a high level every week.  It is a learning process.  I remember in the past some of Dayton's sloppiest offensive games have come at CE King.  This team will be fine.  Take a deep breath and let the coaches do their job.  Don't give the district championship away just yet.  Lots of ball to still be played.
5. Then take your butt home and don't come back.
I have been a bronco fan for many years , never have u seen the broncos not take a knee for an injured player . I have seen it tonight . I am embarrassed to be a bronco fan at this point . Broncos deserve what ever it is they get .
6. Bronco fans need to be quiet about taking a knee on an injury.  It is not a sign of respect.  it was to keep little pee wee football kids in line when there was an injury. I do not recall any college or pro team taking a knee during an injury.  If your opinion is different, it is just that an opinion and I can assure it does not matter with what the broncos do.
7. Just to help you out a little. Lil'tex....Herrera guided the Broncos to the 4th round his sophomore year..(Vidor, Waller, El Campo, Brenham)...
8. With the players that Hardin has coming back, what is the expectation?  This might make the difference in applicants...
9. Wrong year boss man.  According to the 2010-2011 District Report Cards, all three high schools were Acceptable.  I believe your link was for a previous year which included TPM results.  Which is still good for your district.  I stand corrected for previous years!!!  Lol
10. The Thomas question?  Don't know, kind of felt that way.  Maybe I am wrong.  You said that only one school was not Recognized, correct?  I just checked on the TEA website and all of Beaumont's high schools were Academically Acceptable. Same as Dayton's..... You are more than welcome.
11. WOW!!!  How is that nerve doing that I hit? I believe I said earlier that Beaumont has some great students and teachers.  Congratulations for having some of those in the family.  You should be proud.
12. You can say what you want about Dayton, it really does not matter.  Your opinion about Dayton is completely irrelevant, just as mine is about Beaumont ISD.  Dayton is not big enough to make a difference in the overall state and the outcome of the success of a test.  Neither is Vidor, West Orange, Newton, Jasper, Port Neches, or any of the other smaller districts around the state. Beaumont is large enough to make a difference, just as is Dallas and Houston, and that is why I stated those things.  Maybe they will set the bar high, could happen, but do you believe that?  I would hope that you would since you are a Beaumont supporter and Thomas fan. If you really think that the results of this new upcoming test will not be affected by the upcoming presidential election and Governor Perry, then you truly do live in a bubble. So please rip away.  I am sure that everyone on this board is waiting.
13. Sorry for taking so long to get back with you all.  Is Dayton utopia?  No, everywhere has it's problems.  But when the state of Texas cannot set the passing standards for the new tests that are coming out until they get the results in from Houston, Dallas and Beaumont (their tests will be graded first) then you can surmise it is to see where the passing standards have to be set and how low they must be set.  You really do not think that Governor Perry would allow for the state's new tests to fall flat on it's face, do you?  If you set the passing standard before the test, which is when it should be set, and the big districts fail, that does not look good for a presidential nominee.  So really I guess I mis-spoke when I called Beaumont, Dallas, and Houston ISD a joke.  They are really failures that will be made successful by a joke of a Governor that is trying to be President. Is everyone in these districts failures, absolutely not!!!  There are some great teachers and great students in these districts, and a lot of them.  They just get overshadowed by the majority.  I bet I know where the response to this post is going!!!
14. The man makes over $300,000 a year for being a figure head, which is most Superintendents of big school districts in the state are.  Let's not make him out to be destitute or a hero for not taking a raise!!!  Beaumont ISD is a joke around the state, right up there with Dallas ISD and Houston ISD.
