Are they still flipping tires over there that say DAYTON on them?  That worked out well for them!!!!  Oh and has the DC said anything else about Dayton's defense being a "gimmick" defense?  He better worry about his own defense stopping Dayton.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Coach Foreman leaves for another job. 

I wasn's saying that this is splitting the WOS coaching staff.  I am saying that it shows a division to the higher ups in the district that may be preceived as an opportunity to make a change as some on here have stated. 

We are seeing what happens when two coaches off of the same staff want the head job.  Out of respect for Coach Thompson, Coach Foreman should have pulled his name from the hat.  Coach Thompson deserves this job for the years of service that he has given and the success he has had there.  With one solid choice from the coaching staff then the community is not divided and West Orange would not be in this situation.  A school board and town see a split staff and it allows for them to look in other directions thinking that is best. I am not saying that Coach Foreman does not deserve the job but he does not deserve it over Coach Thompson.  He should pull his name and put his full support behind Coach T.

It is truly amazing how some people get on here and show off ignorance.  You really have no idea what Coach Wood has done for this program and helping the kids in this community.  I can personally count 10 kids that he has saved from drugs, jail and a life that would have never known anything about Dayton football.  Besides that, he is responsible for us never losing a player to grades at the varsity level.  So before you go off and show just how mis-informed you are please know what you are talking about. The best RB to come through Dayton statistically is Michael Dugat.  When Michael graduated he was #5 on the all time list for 4A runningbacks in the state of Texas with over 5000 yards rushing.  He is also the only one with a 2000 yard season which came as a sophomore.

Andreas is the best QB in Dayton and will be next year as well.  He has a better grasp of the offense than any other QB we have had at Dayton.  Cody was not asked to do as much as Andreas does.  Andreas has to do more with less than Cody ever had to.  Cody had AJ and LaCour his Sr. year.  Andreas does not have a playmaker like either one of those two with him.  Sure everyone would like to have a 6'3 QB that runs a 4.4 but there is not one of those in Dayton, if there was he would be at QB.  What there is in Dayton is a 5'6 gunslinger that knows this offense and has lead this team to 7 playoff games in the last 2 years. This is not a list based where the kids are going to play the following year. It is what did the player do in the district ballgames against the other district opponents.  If you look at that then there really is no question that this list is correct. Both of them are right where they should be.  The 19-4A coches did a good job of recognizing the efforts of these young men and voting that way.  Herrera played in only a half of most 19-4A games, so the coaches recognized what he would have done in full games and what he DID do in those halves of games to lead Dayton to the big leads over their schools.  Everyone would like to have more of their players represented but that is not going to happen.   [quote name="liltex" post="923488" timestamp="1291221429"] What the haitees?Merka on the 2nd team going to TCU-Justin Boothe OL going to Rice ??? ??? ::) [/quote]

All coaches get to nominate their players from their schools for a position.  The head coaches can nominate their players but they cannot vote on their own players. There is no set number of all district selections that a team gets based on district outcome.

McBride had a run in the 1st quarter where he made 2 or 3 miss and then did a roll over someone's back and and gained some yards.  I think you were right down there beside the end of the run, did you get that one  on video?
