    The last time West Brook won a District title was in 1995, when head coach, Jacob Walton, was a senior on the team.

    Jacob Walton has done a great job this year. He has definitely turned the ball club around! He is great with the kids, and is a great coach!

    Good point, baseball always consist of errors and walks...Thats how teams win and lose games. Maybe West Brook just wanted it more than Sterling did.

    One player that deserves a look is Senior pitcher, Josiah Svoboda. He is dealing with some arm troubles right now but is still wheelin and dealin for the Bruins out at West Brook...Every time I've seen this kid touch the mound, he has been dominating. With a fastball in the high 80's, and a nasty duece, he definitely has the talent to play at a D1 college, but maybe the best route would be a JUCO, to give his arm time to heal.     Solid Win for WB tonight..I like the way things are looking for the Brook nowadays...out scoring their opponents 42-2 in the last 3 games is not too shabby.
