And just a few months ago:  :D   BISD Receives Superior Financial Rating The Beaumont Independent School District has received a Rating of Superior Achievement from the Texas Education Agency for its 2011-2012 fiscal year School FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) for its excellence in fiscal management according to state guidelines. “BISD’s business department continues to strive for excellence and transparency,” said Devin McCraney, Director of Finance. “This state award is evident that employees are committed to financial responsibility and to meeting state guidelines,” McCraney added. WHAT!!! So you gonna sit there and tell the world there were no large grants awarded to BISD  during his tenure??? 

BISD, under Dr. Thomas's leadership acquired lots of  millions.

Well, its hard for some of us to use a little *common sense* because of the other stimulants circling around in our heads. Some of it is socially induced  and some of it is "jus ignont."

When its pertains to a FEW INDIVIDUALS, no!!! But you have a *few clowns* on here making insinuations that the BISD administration are all crooks, and hundreds of heads will be rolling. smh

A few bad apples in the bunch. All the administrators in BISD are not bad people. Dr. Sugustine for one is going a good job. But that one bad apple get all the press and make the good one forgotten about.  smh

Students are not suffering!!! Like most grown up problems, young people are going on with their lives and waiting for us grown folks to fix whatever problems  we have with ourselves. I can personally tell you my son is thinking about the prom coming up and who is going to be his date for that evening.
