Inteligent, bright young man, he and his brother! They both are very atheletic and could raise eyebrows on the football or track if they wanted! I'm impressed with this kids basketball IQ and ability to get his shots off anywhere on the floor! As he improves his first step (which is pretty good) and matures into the leadership role on his team, he & his brother can very well lead there team to state! Jared sometimes get's over-shadowed but works hard defensively & knocks down big shots, a solid ball player! Very good students as well, parents are proud of them I'm sure, they did a good job raising them!
All the credit goes to Mammagotjuice
>:( hater!!! :D

Good for Central's playoff run! They should be very good again this year! Ozen should also be very good and balanced with good ball handlers, shooters and deapth on the blocks! It's funny how now-a-days there would be a conversation of whether these schools could beat Nederland for a District Title? They have some good players and a good head Coach but has Central & Ozen kids/coaches fallin' off that much? When I played it was an automatic 20 to 30 point victory because we played hard, smart, did what we were told to do and simply refused to loose! Oh, I get it the rolls have reversed, it's not all about atheleticism because Central & Ozen definetly have that! Seriosly though, if these players mindset and work-ethic change the only conversation for 20-4a District would be who will be the 3rd & 4th playoff teams after Central & Ozen! Jumping doesn't assure rebounds as much as blocking-out!
I'm glad my little cousin is staying. I don't wanna hear any excuses from Central alums this year :D
Aww shoot... ;D
;) ;D

Do what they are told to do? 4. Do they refuse to loose? Just asking your opinion. ;)

They will all have winning records. They will all make playoffs. The real question is, do these teams have what it take to make it to regionals and be successful???
Agree. Not sure how stacked the region is this year, but I would guess that it's not too stacked to where one of these teams makes the Regional Tourney. Will any of them advance and go to state? Depends on the matchups in the playoffs. We don't know who each team will face in the post season. The post season is too far away, and there is too many 'unknowns' out there to discuss who will make it to state from this region. This thread is mainly for bragging purposes. It will be another close race to see who wins the district title. I don't think there is much question of the top three teams. Is there any other teams in the district who may make some noise?
I think it could be a battle for the 4th spot between LCM,Lumberton and Vidor. I think Lumberton will end up with the final spot in the playoffs.
PNG has made the playoffs 2 of the past 3 years. I wouldn't count them out.
Again, I think the 4th spot is going to be a nail biter this season. Will be interesting to see who will step up and take care of business.

Central will be full of battle-tested juniors, Ozen with mostly seniors this year I think, and Nederland with Weisbrod and ? and? hmmm? Too early to tell about the guys below. LCM? pn-g? Lumberton?

But I don't think Central will dominate as they would have if Toe-Toe was still there. Again, I don't know for sure if he is leaving. If he stays a Jag, then Central is the clear favorite to repeat as district champs. If not, I think it is wide open for the taking.
Torry brings some stability to Central's team. The ultimate teammate who I wish would take more control of games. Has a good mental feel for the game.
