[/quote] Seriously?  Da Dove disapproves of cross country training for basketball players as not being sufficiently sport specific.  Different things work for different people/different teams.  Take a look at LeBrons physique-  The great majority of what you see is attributable to yoga.  On the other hand, I would suspect that Larry Bird, Oliver Miller, Boris Diaw and Big Baby Davis( to name a few) had much of a training regimen and still managed to do well in the NBA.
