Not implying anyone won or lost on purpose. I've said from the beginning whatever team gets 2nd place would be in a better spot to advance further in playoffs.

I warned HJ and Silsbee before the season to fight for 2nd place in the district. HJ couldn't help it. Cross country wore them out. Silsbee just had too much pride to lose a game or two in district and finish 2nd!!!
