Perhaps the next coach/staff will wake up and get his/their priorities in proper perspective and resultantly create an program for which they don't have to apologize.
Looks like WO-S will be HJ's first challenge for the season  ;D
I'm guessing you are forgetting that HJ played Ned and Central earlier this year? As you mentioned just yesterday; those are the two other schools you demise! ;)
And notice how they were ignored in my last post ;)
I noticed Ur new 'enemy' did not reply. I admit, It took me a while to comprehend your 'tactics'. Maybe he is devising his own 'game' and we just don't know it yet?
Some are slower than others.  ;)
 2.
Does that mean that all "hang on" wins have an asterisk by them in the standings?  Are you not allowed into the playoffs if you have numerous "hang on" wins?
It was a close game. Point being, Central better be very scared next meeting
 3. Thats right, Central "hangs on" to win this one.
I've never said I'm good at predicting team winners. But WO-S will win by 10 points  :o

 7. It don't matter if this kid has  30 tackles or 10 tackles for the season. He has what it takes to go to the next level.  I'm going to say this again,  there are several things college coaches  are looking at:  (a)potential talent (b) GRADES (c)Facebook (d) Twitter......... If you have the GRADES, POTENTIAL & Character, you have half the battle won. Don't matter if another kid has more tackles than Tony and the kid's  grades and test scores don't meet the NCAA Clearing House requirements and/or he has bad character. TB has a good family foundation and will go places. You can always tell when these kids are doing something right because all the haters try and throw roadblocks & their distractions on the road not many are capable to travel, nor had the balls to try and travel.
 8.
It was a tough loss since unless they pull a major upset over Ozen, Central, or Nederland, they will be playing for fourth against most likely PNG or Livingston.  The team only has one starting returning Senior.  There main problem is they compete with most teams, they just have a bad 2 min run where they turnover the ball and get down by 10 and then have a hard time making up the difference.  Against Livingson, they were down by 2 at the fourth period and then got down by ten real quick.  Still early in the season, so who knows what will happen.  One thing certain is they have to beat PNG this Friday.
Exactly!! PNG is a must win.
 9. You forgot about Africa. Good developing talent coming from there.
 10.
The topic is accomplishments and HJ simply doesnt fit into that category.  They are just your average run of the mill program and the staff there is mired in mediocrity.  Perhaps someday they will hire someone who know how to run a program.
I think your staff is great. But, that schedule is a ..... :-X  18-1  ::)
 11. Something is wrong with the Karma whatchamadigit. Please fix.
 12.
If you are saying life is like basketball, you are wrong.  There is more reward for being on the bottom than on the top.
:-X
 13.
You won't get any argument for me on that.  Mr. English has completely turned around two consecutive dismal programs- a feat unaccomplished by most.  In my opinion, such an accomplishment is a bigger one than winning a regional or state title via an established program.
And don't forget, playing a weak schedule......................  18-1 geez!!!!!
 14.
Too bad life isnt more like basketball
Wanna Bet  ;)

 16. Yes, it is weird & funny how sports mirrors life .....Those on the bottom who didn't work as hard or lacked the talent  ENVY / HATE on the Big Dogs WHO PUT IN THE GRIND.  And the Big Dogs  keep refusing to change their game (as requested by da bottom 3%) in order to stay in competition with the other Big Dogs.
 17. I knew something was going on over there.
 18. Has he started walking on water yet?
 19. The thing about being on top is that more people will hate on you for the silliness reasons. I see now I'm going to have to  include Central up there with Nederland & Hardin Jefferson as schools to hate on because they are successful
 20. Ozen players run. They are in shape physically.
 21.

This game could be important for that 4th playoff spot in district 20-4a.  Plus we should get a good look at how good Livingston is this year.  It is always somewhat of a mystery with them being so far away and playing a preseason schedule of teams we are not real familar with.  LCM should know alot about their chances this year after this week since they also have PNG friday.
Hypothetical scenario: With LCM's loss last night, haven't you guys just limited your playoff chances and added more pressure to win your remaining games?
Simple answer is YES.  Of course its early and we still have a shot at playoffs but that loss did hurt.
No disrespect towards LCM was intended by my question. But I found it very interesting that after one district game, it appears LCM  dug a deep hole so early in the season.
 22.
I believe that can be said for the loser in a large portion of all games played.
yep. so true
 23. Hmm, I remember the last time this happened!!
 24. Ozen had the opportunity to win this game.

Ozen will be ready.  Btw, your boy had a good game!
Maybe Ozen should consider cross country running in the off season ;D
Ozen players were not tired..........
