True, if they were blowing away teams, we'd be worried about them winning close games..LOL

I know Tim and those guys. Good people and a very good basketball program put in place. McCLure is serious about academics as much as he is about basketball. The school probably needs to compete in 3-A division. They have several potential D-1 players in the loop.

WB had the lead in the closing seconds. The Ozen guards applied pressure on WB's guards and made some key steals to seal the game. Not too much offense from OZEN in this one but once again, the D stepped up.

I see freeze's point. I had a couple of calls from some ex-Central players. Central controlled the boards thereby getting some good fast breaks in during the whole game. Their (other )OFFENSE consisted of getting  (1)offensive  rebounds and (2)getting the ball inside to their bigs. Whatcha gonna do when you meet a team who matches up with your bigs. Your "new wings" didn't score from the outside, they scored inside as usual.

Basketball, you only as good as your last game..Ask HJ  ;D

Been doing this a very long time. I see and recognize when you have parents having their kids play and haven't earned the right. Snuggling with the coaches, on the booster club, buying ads for sporting events, etc. Don't get me started with athletic entitlements, Nash ;D
