C'mon basketball gurus, what do you see as weaknesses in Yates' game?

WOW! Look at all the open looks you have once you break their press, and this is only in the first few minutes of the game. OPPPS!!!  Dat press got me excited too. [Hidden Content]

(1)Yates scores off their press defense (i.e. steals, panic, etc:) (2) If when you break their press, you will have open shots- if your on, YATES IN TROUBLE. But Yates is trying to wear you down by the 4th qtr. They want you to run with them and shoot the ball. I had my best games against Yates back in my era.

It use to be a time when I could type in the names of the players from this area who were getting recognition in the Greater Houston Area. Getting to be too many to list by name,  so I'm going to give the year and the number of players ranked/listed by graduating class year. Here goes: 2013 Class:  1 2014 Class: 10 2015 Class: 14 2016 Class: 5 * Of the 120 Top Sophomores ranked, #2, #3, and #4 are from The Golden Triangle. Good job fellas!!

[/quote]I think Yates played down to their competition. I know several of those WBC boys. The thing with Yates is that I don't think they are a great offensive team. Their defense is their offense

And Westbrook vs Westbury Christian / I know WB beat WBC. WBC had played Yates the night before. How did WBC look? But I'm glad a S.E.Texas team beat them.

Okay guys, basketball is upon us so I figured I'd threw in some follies to start the season right. Initially I thought this was HJ's team but then I realized the colors were wrong. Then it all came together, it was Nederland with those colors. Wrong again!!! I took one last long look and realized it had to be those BEARCUBS. But we can all agree this kid had a minimum of 4 rebounds with his effort. [Hidden Content]

He deserves the recognition. Always admired him for taking his kids when they were younger to some of the bigger tournaments in the big city. Made them mentally better.

I know Gray. It was a compliment that he is elite.
