hey Nash, maybe me and you can get it going like we did with HJ and HF ;)
Come on Dove- you know I dont like to do stuff like that!!
::) ::) Your one of the best promo people on here.
 2.
It was certainly a good job.  However, there are some who believe being coach of the year means district, regional, and state titles
Nash, c'mon man. I know you're far right but have a heart. Move back towards the middle a bit. Sheez!
 3. LOL! Can't! Too many variables involved in this 4-A stuff and I don't know the teams well enough. In 3-A, You basically know what schools the kids are going to attend. You see 3-A kids from elementary, middle, and on to high school. You know their strengths and weaknesses.
 4. Do they give Coach of the Year awards? Hands down Coach Neal @ HF. Great job Coach ;)
Some one don't know much about nothing, what kind of sense would that make, to put some one in a head coach position that have never been their, not to mention replacing the only coach still playing in 20-4a ,and Beaumont for that matter, and heading to the regional tournament.Give it a rest, coach Saveat has done a good job with this team ,weather you like his coaching style or not.
I agree! Interesting, I don't think many of us gave this team much of chance this year but they have passed most expectations. Can you imagine the expectations for next year?

For ALL sports....
Dickie, you're talking way above some people's understanding ;)

How is it working out for the OTHER athletic programs there? Its not...Its ineffective, and its a selfish, football centered thought process. Yet it STILL fails to produce results for football either...
*OUCH* oh-oh!
 11.
There is a kid from Marshall who will be a factor around here for a while.  Nederland folks know him from tournament ball.  From what I've seen he is in the top 5 in Bmt for his age.  He had some eligibility issues this year, but won't in the future (or his dad might kill him!). If the current crop of 8th graders decided together where to go (King kids, plus the Marshall kid, etc), it could get interesting.  If there was an obvious choice, i.e. an exceptional coach in the bunch, it would likely happen.  As it is now, who knows.... But I do know that there has been some plotting and planning going on among the kids...
You sir have raised an interesting point that maybe some people have not grasped. Kids talk to each other and will follow to the same school with hopes of having a winning program. Yates, Wheatley, Bmt. Central, Bmt. Westbrook, etc.

 23.
to all you ozen fanatics Bou was a great coach but he also had Perkins and several other D1 players on his team. So without perkins they don't win state. Yall act like because they had some very successful years there that it should be that way every year.  Players like that come every so often.  YOu can't win state every year. Lets be honest OZEN hasn't had any legit D1 players in several years, so guess what your not going to win state.....yall wanna blame the coach but heck he can only play the players that come out for the team. IF saveat had perkins and those players yall would be saying he was a great coach...... IN two to three years OZEN will win district and they will have a team good enough to make a state run....
There was NO perkins or any other really big time players on the 2007 Ozen team that marched to state.  Explain that one, 5gallonbucket.
I said "WIN STATE"  they didn't win it.  IM not trying to take away from their accomplishments.  THey did really well that year with less talent than BOU had....that says alot.  and im not saying you can't win state with out D1 players, but its highly unlikely in the 5A and 4A divisions.  More than likely there will be atleast one D1 caliber player I mean take away those D1 players from BOU's teams and what do you have. Soulja and Bluedove your missing the point with my post or you do get my point but wanta try to debunk me on minor details of my post.
Not missing your point at all. All I said was that D. Frank has been the CLOSEST D1 material in recent years.
