Im pullin for the Horns and im an alumni but lets be honest here HF doesn't have much talent and the Coach doesn't have a positive word to say. NO shooters on the team...3s nor pull up jump shots. They have one big and thats all he is, they have no true PG....he left to go to university of ozen. The players play timid as if they re scared to make a mistake......THATS THE COACHE'S FAULT. Its gonna be a brutal beat down when HJ and HF face off......the horns will be hornless and neutered after that game
The coach ia a very good coach if anybody can get HF on the right track he can.It not the COACH FAULT HF will get better before dist.start.
I'm with you on this one CATMAN! Time to stop looking at the coaching now ;)

Obviously we are talking about "your big man". HJ has a pretty nice blend of urban/suburban thus proving there is a place for both on the basketball court in high school basketball. Special congrats to Mr. Bosha who exercised a lot of patience and showed much maturity for a sophomore by NEVER forcing a shot or pass. Every decision he made was a good one and he was quite productive in the second half of the game. Also don't remember him having a single turnover which, in itself, has some meaningful point value.
He played a conservative game ;)
Yes, he did and the results were very impressive.
Wonder what would have happened if he played more "progressive?" :D ;D
Quite often, the "progressive" game looks great (at times) and sounds great but when you analyze the stats, it's not so hot.
Trickle down theory looks good on paper

Parents send their kids to schools that are gonna be more helpful in allowing them to be seen by college coaches (athletic reasons). HF....no basketball history OZEN.....state championship....long playoff runs....sends players to colleges/nba Come on be honest.....What looks more inviting?
Okay! Let me get something straight right now and clear some things up. And this may not come out sounding cool to some of you. [Edited} LOL! wHEW! Amazing! I deleted several points I was going to make.
Thanks Bulldog81. The Top Half of the bracket seems to be loaded, especially with Kimball and SOC ranked #2 & #3 in the latest 4A poll. Throw in North Shore and Westbrook from Class 5A, and it's tough. There will be a lot of good matchups to to and see. Very good field of teams.
Westbrook better come with "A" game.

They need better ball handlers. The guards that they have can't handle the press. They have some athletes that can go. I would assume they need good shooters to be able to stretch the floor as well. But, IMO, they will be right in the thick of things in their district.
If Blue Dove hadn't moved :D :D ::) ::) Hamshire-Fannett would be a force in 21-3a this year.
HF still has a good squad to compete in their district. ;)

I talked to some folks out there last week and their numbers are down so where is Dr Sloan getting the money? Where are they going to play the football games Tully? :o
Delmar Stadium ;)
