YES A BIG DIFFERENCE. Why was the quarterback sacked so many times. The other two would have ran for daylight and gained yardage,obviously if the new kid is faster than Bevil, maybe Bevil is a little quicker and to avoid the pass rush AND get rid of the ball quicker. Or some quarterbacks see the play developing faster than others.

I've seen your team. OOPS Central seemed to play better after Central Coach ?? brought up some players from JV (Souljah correct me if I'm mis-stating). I do expect those same players to continue to improve as I'm sure Nederland will. It will be a fun season to watch. Kelly is a young team they scrimmaged Vidor this weekend and had i believe 4 freshmen playing varsity and a sophomore. Lets just say they handled Vidor pretty well. Central got some some top area Freshmen to enroll this year. Will be competitive for years to come. Nederland? I've seen your JV. Hopefully those 8th graders will help yall out in a couple of years. ;)

[/quote]Well, It's bee a few weeks since I've seen him.  I'm thinking he probably quit after he realized that we were not going to the playoffs vs. Vidor, which was 2 weeks ago.  If this is the case, he should have had ample time to practice and get ready for the season. [/quote]I'm sure he have.  I can't confirm it either.  I don't see why not.  He  has good speed, good height for a guard (6'1") explosive at the rim.  what may hold him back is his dribbles.  He tends to go back to the right hand, but he finishes with either hand. [/quote]I've only seen him play this past summer a few times but he has potential. 6'1'? I thouht he was at least 6"3' . Well he has no control on the height issue but he certainly has control on improving his handles. Best of luck to the young man, except for two games ;)

PAM, I realize you have footballers still playing, but what happened? Can any PAM peeps give me your side of the story?

[/quote] sOULJA1, please do not make these comments in public. The coaches may see and add some extra arsenal to his game. If this kid adds a mid range game to his game, watch out 4-A. But you didn't hear this from me ;)

I usually don't trust Aggie's analysis when it comes to basketball, but he may have made a good guess on this one. Central has some good players. Don't think deep in playoff will happen with them this year.

Lets make this more interesting.  Maybe a friendly wager. Example, loser has to wear opposing team's logo.
